Two years ago, Lauren London gave birth to one of Lil Wayne's sons. During that period in time, the Young Money rapper had three women pregnant at the same time. In the time since the birth of her son, gossip magazines and websites have made their relationship seem like a fling.
Lauren London addressed those rumors, saying it really gets to her when people say that. Because of Lil Wayne's rap persona, critics automatically assume her child was the product of a quickie. But, those reports could not be farther from the truth. London revealed a storied romance with Wayne.
According to the actress, she and Lil Wayne met when he was fifteen years old. The two hit it off and began dating. Several times, the couple attempted to be together. "Basketball Wives 3" to premiere Tonight

Barely one month since the end of season two and VH1 is already gearing up for the third season of the hit series, "Basketball Wives." The show was created by Shaunie O'Neal, the ex-wife of NBA superstar, Shaquille O'Neal.
The show received much publicity even when it was only an idea. Before Shaunie O'Neal had even pitched the show to a network, Shaq was threatening to sue if his name was even mentioned in the show. The former couple reached an agreement and the show eventually began broadcasting on VH1.
Fast forward one year and "Basketball Wives" has become a major hit for VH1. The show brings in big ratings for the network, keeping things going in the post-dating show era at VH1. Not even a month's break was given between seasons for "Basketball Wives." Shaunie O'Neal discussed the upcoming season, telling viewers things will pick up where they left off after the reunion show.

Yesterday, Sean Kingston was involved in a major accident while vacationing in Miami. Kingston logged onto his Twitter before he went to Miami. The post mentioned how he was headed to Miami to get fresh and enjoy his day.
Sean Kingston spent his day jet skiing in Miami before being injured in an accident. While on his jet ski, Sean Kingston crashed into a bridge and was severly injured. Kingston was not the only passenger.
While he was on the jet ski, Sean Kingston had a female passenger. When he crashed, the female passenger was also injured. Reports say the accident took place around 6:00 pm and the two are now in a Miami area hospital.
It has been said that the "Beautiful Girls" singer is in critical condition. Epic Records, Kingston's record label, confirmed the accident. Justin Bieber said Kingston would be in his prayers. Read more...

Amber Rose has been at the top of news headlines of both entertainment magazines and websites for nearly six months. Rose boosted to fame due to her high-profile relationship with controversial rapper, Kanye West. Their relationship was highly-publicized in the media.
People were able to watch the entire play-by-play as the couple fell in and out of love. Finally, Kanye West and Amber Rose called it quits last summer. In the time since then, Kanye West has been linked with several women. After being photographed in compromising positions with several men, Amber Rose has now settled down with Wiz Khalifa.
In December, Amber Rose announced she was dating the rap newcomer. Following this, Rose became a staple in the gossip columns. Recently, VIBE landed an interview with Amber Rose and it has left the model highly upset. Only bits and pieces of the interview were actually used. The popular urban publication only used parts of the interview that discussed her romance with Kanye West and her fling with NFL superstar, Reggie Bush.

Miami's "Big Three" delivers when it Counts

The 2010-2011 season has served as retribution for the Miami Heat fans and for Dwyane Wade. Early in his career, Wade was playing in big games, as his team, the Miami Heat, boasted a strong roster.
Before the end of his third season, Dwyane Wade had established himself as the leader of the team. In the final stages of his third season, Wade single-handedly willed the Heat to an NBA title.
Following his brilliant performance, many regarded the young star as the best player in the NBA. But, the next season would be very deflating for Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat fans. Throughout the season, the Heat were tormented by the Chicago Bulls and then Wade went down with a career-threatening injury.
Obviously, without Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat slipped and were soon the worst team in the NBA. But, during the 2008 offseason, Wade returned to form and the Miami Heat became playoff contenders, once again. However, the Heat lacked chemistry with a roster full of new players and rookies, costing them two first round series.
During the 2010 offseason, Dwyane Wade convinced Chris Bosh and LeBron James to help him take his Heat back to contention. It took very little convincing before James announced his decision to leave his longtime team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and joined the Heat. While Miami had some struggles in the regular season, namely struggles with the Boston Celtics and Bulls, they still managed to put together the second best record in the East.
In the playoffs, each of the big three have taken turns being the hero. In the first round, LeBron James led the team to their victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. But, in the major round against the Boston Celtics, Dwyane Wade stepped up and helped Miami get over the hump. Against the young Chicago Bulls, LeBron James and Chris Bosh have stepped up and have helped Miami get out to a 3-1 lead over the Bulls.
All season, critics have written the Miami Heat off in favor of the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Orlando Magic. But, at the biggest stage of the conference playoffs, these teams are watching the playoffs from home, while the Miami Heat are one win away from going to the NBA Finals for the first time in five years. Oprah Winfrey says goodbye to "The Oprah Winfrey Show"

Five years ago, Oprah Winfrey announced she had renewed her long-running talk show, "The Oprah Winfrey Show," for five more seasons. The time has come and gone very quickly and her show is now a memory. While her show has ended, the impact it has had on the world will not soon be forgotten.
May 2011 was slated to be the final month for show and it was treated as such. Winfrey lined up several high-profile guests in order to say goodbye. The NBA had to re-schedule their headlining playoff series between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat because Oprah was having her show at the United Center.
Featuring such guests as Beyonce and Michael Jordan, Oprah has finally said goodbye to her viewers. Today marked the final episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Twenty-five years of touching viewers is over, in that format, at least. Oprah Winfrey's media lives on through her O magazine and her television network OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.

After taking three years off, following the release of her third studio album, I Am... Sasha Fierce, Beyonce is recording her fourth album. The album is properly titled 4. Feeling as if she took enough time off, Beyonce is returning with a vengeance.
Beyonce has already hit the radio hard with her first single "Who Run the World (Girls)." She performed this hit during the farewell party for Oprah Winfrey earlier this month. The song rocked the entire Chicago crowd.
While Beyonce is preparing to come back to the game and take things over, Andre 3000 is taking a backseat. The Outkast star has been very quiet since 2007. He has recorded on a few remixes, most notably Chris Brown's "Deuces (remix)."

Throughout his career, Game has made it clear he is an active member of the Bloods gang. His gang affiliation made his Canada return less than favorable earlier this month. Still, Game continues to represent the gang. Game pledged allegiance to the Bloods with his lead single for The R.E.D. Album, "Red Nation."
The lyrics for the song, which features fellow Blood, Lil Wayne, are very agressive. Because of this, "Red Nation" has been heavily editied for radio play. Still, the song is hardly played by many radio stations because of the content. While the song, itself, is tough, the video is much tougher.
In the "Red Nation" video, Game is seen dressed in all red, in some parts, and the video re-enacts a riot. Due to the hardcore lyrics and the tougher visuals, BET and MTV decided to ban "Red Nation" from their respective channels. While Game was a little upset because his video was banned, he understands where the networks are coming from as a parent.

Cee Lo to star in "Talking to Strangers" on FUSE

Cee Lo has also taken his talents to the television screen with his past show on FUSE, "Lay it Down." Fans can catch Cee Lo on the NBC series, "The Voice," as a coach. But, now Cee Lo will have another television program where fans can watch him.
Reuniting with FUSE, Cee Lo will be starring in "Talking to Strangers." The show will be similar to "Lay it Down," as it follows the same format. Cee Lo will interview artists and then they will close the show with a performance.

Their 2010 fame may have been fueled by a misunderstanding, but 2011 was all them. The group released "Bring it Back" and have had the momentum ever since. With their popularity at an all-time high, they have decided to expand.
Recently, the trio announced they were going to launch a website. Already with a cult follow, the group decided to create a website for their female fans. The site will be called twerk2travy.com and it will be a place for women to upload videos of themselves dancing to their music.

Shemar Moore signs on for new "Criminal Minds" season

Fans have gotten used to seeing Shemar Moore in front of their television screens. Moore appeared in various commercials and music videos as a male model. This was before he began playing on the popular soap opera, The Young and the Restless.
Moore became known to die hard soap fans as Malcom Winters, a role he played from 1994 until 2005. He surprised viewers when he shunned the long-running soap for a role on Criminal Minds. While remaining a part of CBS, he left their flagship soap.
Over the past six years, Shemar Moore has continued to win over new fans. Playing the role of Derek Morgan, Moore has transitioned over well into primetime. For a little while, fans feared Moore may abandon Criminal Minds the way he did Y&R.

While Shaquille O'Neal has been with various women, he and Hoopz seemed to be a mismatch to most. Last year, there were rumors of O'Neal popping the question to Hoopz. Before the end of the year, stories said the two had broken up. The rumors suggested Shaq had demanded all his high-price gifts back.

No public figure has changed their name as many times as Diddy. He was born Sean Combs, but began calling himself Puff Daddy by the time he started college. In the business world, he was fondly known as Puffy and made music under the Puff Daddy moniker.
When the 2000s arrived, Combs changed things up and renamed himself P. Diddy. Under the new moniker, he continued to make hit records, for himself and other artists. But, the name did not last as long as his previous name.
In 2005, Sean Combs announced he would change his name to Diddy in 2006. When 2006 arrived, the name change was official everywhere, except for the United Kingdom. In the UK, Combs is still known as P. Diddy.

Upon being eliminated from the show, Romeo said he would still spend time with Chelsie Hightower. Many assumed this was their way of announcing themselves as a couple. If cast mate Kirstie Alley had anything to do with the situation, she would be in Hightower's shoes.
Yesterday, the photograph to the left leaked to the internet, showing Alley kissing the young star. Obviously, the kiss was for the camera. Alley and Romeo met outside of the practice studio of "Dancing with the Stars." The picture of them kissing was shared on Twitter.
When she saw the photo, Kirstie Alley said she and Romeo got bored, so they decided to put something together for the camera. Taraji P. Henson to star in Steve Harvey film

Steve Harvey has decided to turn his successful book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, into a film. Harvey has teamed up with filmmaker, Tim Story. Under Story's guidance, the film has been titled Think Like a Man.
Taraji P. Henson has been cast in the lead female role of the upcoming film. Henson will be starring opposite Michael Ealy, an acclaimed actor in his own right. Henson and Ealy will join comedian, Kevin Hart, on the cast.
The Tim Story film will hit theaters sometime next year. Variety reported Henson and Ealy will be playing a couple in the film. It will be the first time one of Steve Harvey's books has been turned into a film.

While profiting off Rihanna, Willow Smith, J. Cole, and other big name artists, Jay-Z is working on his next plot. Jay-Z and Will Smith have already collaborated for a new film company. Their first production will be a remake of Annie, starring Willow Smith. The future seems bright for the Carter/Smith partnership.
Jay-Z has had several partners over the years, but he has gone solo for his latest venture. The Roc Nation CEO is adding television producer to his list of occupations. Recently, news was released about Jay-Z putting together an animated sitcom for Adult Swim. His show will have a focus on hip hop and will not be the first of its type to land on Adult Swim.

VH1 renews "Love & Hip Hop" for Another Season

VH1 has had several hit shows and they were hoping to add another hit for 2011. Network executives sat down with Jim Jones for a pilot regarding him and his family. Jones did not like the plot, but Chrissy Lampkin did.
The network decided to add more women to the show. Emily Bustamante, the girlfriend of Fabolous, was the first female to join the cast. The two ladies were soon joined by Olivia Longott and Somaya Reece.
Titled "Love & Hip Hop," the show quickly caught on with the viewers, as they were able to see how the other side of hip hop lives. There have been several documentaries, but never a show that details the day-to-day as the wife, or girlfriend, of a hip hop star. Because of this, "Love & Hip Hop" provided major ratings for VH1 and the network wants the good times to continue. Outside of making hits, T-Pain's love life has been very private. The most T-Pain has ever said was that he was in love with a stripper. In recent months, he has been rumored to be with a few different women. But, stories began about he and Ke$ha after a photo surfaced.

In 2007, Keyshia Cole released an anthem for the females, which has become a popular phrase, "Let it Go." The song was produced by Missy Elliott and featured rap verses from Elliott and Lil' Kim. "Let it Go" was a big hit for Keyshia Cole after most had written her off as a one hit wonder.
Aside from boosting Keyshia Cole into superstardom, the song also marked the return of Missy Elliott and Lil' Kim. Neither artist had released an album since 2005. Lil' Kim was working on her comeback album, which has yet to come. At the time, Lil' Kim and Keyshia Cole were becoming good friends.
Keyshia Cole went on to become a major star and took over the game with her next album. Meanwhile, Lil' Kim ended up leaving her longtime label, Atlantic Records. Nicki Minaj was on the mixtape circuit, quickly rising to emerge in the mainstream. Following her third album, Keyshia Cole took time off to build her family, during this time Nicki Minaj began dominating the radio waves.
Fast forward to 2010 and Lil' Kim has major issues with Nicki Minaj. Keyshia Cole is working on her own comeback attempt and she reaches out to Nicki Minaj for help. For months, Nicki Minaj remained silent while Lil' Kim dissed her repeatedly. But, before the end of 2010, Nicki Minaj began responding to her disses and hitting back with some of her own. Nicki Minaj decided to use her verse on Keyshia Cole's song to diss Lil' Kim.
Upon hearing the song, Lil' Kim said she and Mary J. Blige were going to team up to begin dissing both of the women. This diss never came and Keyshia Cole ignored the shots from Lil' Kim. Recently, the two got into it on Twitter. Lil' Kim questioned their friendship and Keyshia Cole said they did not have one outside of making music. She said she thanked her for working on her song, but she had absolutely nothing to do with the feud with Nicki Minaj.

One year ago, fans and critics agreed Chris Brown's career was over. When Brown arranged to perform at the 2010 BET Awards, no one predicted what would happen next. Right before the awards ceremony of 2009, the legendary Michael Jackson died. The pain of his death was still prominent one year after his death.
Before he was caught up, Chris Brown was considered by some as the next Michael Jackson. Nearly all male R&B singers who dance end up with his comparison. But, Brown's 2007 video, "Wall 2 Wall," helped these comparisons along. All of this went out of the window when Brown was labeled an abuser.
However, when Chris Brown did the tribute performance for the late Michael Jackson at the 2010 BET Awards, he won his fan base back. Following the performance, when he broke down and cried, he had an even bigger base. This was the catalyst which led to Chris Brown re-establishing himself in the game, coming back bigger than before.

Early in his career, R. Kelly was known for his sexually-explicit lyrics, quickly becoming a graphic R&B singer. Most listeners who have followed him since the beginning call him a freaky singer. But, Kelly made bigger noise when he was accused of having sex with underage girls in 2001.
Once news broke and R. Kelly was facing charges, he immediately changed his style. R. Kelly began focusing more on working with rappers, namely Ja Rule and Jay-Z. During the darkest period of his career, they continued to work with him. R. Kelly eventually had a falling out with Jay-Z, but remains close with Ja Rule.
Now, R. Kelly is still one of the more popular R&B artists in the game. Known for his hip hop collaborations and sexually-explicit lyrics, a bit of this may have rubbed off on his ex-wife. Andrea Kelly has been in the news, recently, because she has launched pole dancing classes. However, her intention is not to be erotic.

In 2008, Oprah Winfrey revealed surprising news to the public in two doses. First, she announced she had partnered with independent media company, Discovery, for a new television network. In the same breath, Oprah also announced she would be ending her long-running daytime talk show.
While she announced "The Oprah Winfrey Show" was ending, Oprah assured fans they would have another three seasons to watch the show. She had agreed to a five-year extension in 2006 and even then she knew the show was over. Always planning ahead, Oprah revealed why she decided to end the show.
In 2003, Oprah renewed the show for another three years, she had planned to end the show at 20 years. But, she received an email from dying child author, Mattie Stephanek. The little girl told her she should wait five more years to end the show. To her, 25 was a better number and she said she was also a little OCD.
Sadly, the girl eventually died in 2003, but the show continued. Oprah took Stephanek's advice and renewed the show for five more years in 2006. Rihanna made it clear she was not getting back with Chris Brown because that period in her life is over. She said it was only Twitter, not the alter. Frustrated, many of her followers apologized for their reaction to the news.

Ever since the release of "The Warning," Nick Cannon has had issues with Eminem. Often, Cannon goes out of his way to insult Em. Each time he is dissed by Nick Cannon, Eminem goes right back at him. But, last year, Eminem turned over a new leaf and he promised his family and his friends he would leave all beef alone.
Recently, Nick Cannon took a couple of cheap shots at Eminem at a comedy performance. Cannon said he was only joking around and agreed to put the beef to rest. Things became too real, however, when Felicia Pearson was brought up on drug charges. Pearson recently appeared in court over the charges. When she pled, she pled 'Not Guilty' of the charges. Pearson refused to comment when asked about the charges.

At the age of 24, Bow Wow is a veteran in the entertainment industry. His career began in 2000, when he was signed to Jermaine Dupri's record label, So So Def Recordings. But, over the years, Bow Wow has expanded into other ventures.
Bow Wow was the head of his own label in 2005, but his primary role outside of rapping is acting. Early in his career, Bow Wow landed several movie roles. Following each role, Bow Wow looks for a new challenge.
When film studios first began casting rappers, they had them playing the typical rapper roles. Ice Cube was among the first rappers to ever successfully transition into serious acting. LL Cool J has also had a very successful acting career.
In a discussion about the movies, Bow Wow said he hates the rapper roles. He said each time he accepts a movie role, he is accepting a challenge. Bow Wow does not want to play the typical rapper in movies, instead he wants to play the role of a serious character. After months of questions, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa admitted they were dating each other. Wiz Khalifa went as far as saying he was in love with her. However, Chelsea Handler revealed she was now single and interested if 50 Cent was. Over the next nine months, the two flirted through gossip sites and Twitter. At times, the couple was spotted together. But, each time they were asked about dating, they denied it.
The flirtation took a serious tone towards the end of 2010, when Chelsea Handler had enough. In January, she said 50 had become stalker-ish. On Christmas, 50 Cent sent her several gifts, which she quickly returned. It was then when Chelsea Handler cut ties with 50 Cent. Their friendship is over and Handler wants no association with 50 Cent.
Now, the E! personality is going in-depth about why she has banished 50 Cent. Handler said she does not accept gifts from rappers because she is not a hooker. During an interview with Piers Morgan, Handler finally admitted to a romance with 50 Cent. Chelsea Handler said she enjoyed a very brief and very casual relationship with 50 Cent. When Michelle Obama invited Common to a poetry event at the White House, it appeared to be a nice gesture between hip hop and politics. Surely, no one expected the outrage from the right-wing politicians that soon followed. Sarah Palin has been very vocal about Common being in the White House.
Common was very critical of former president, George W. Bush, calling him out in one of his songs. When Palin discovered he would be at the poetry event, she posted on Twitter. She made a sarcastic remark about the White House and linked to a conservative article about Common.
Michelle Obama and the White House have yet to respond to the comments made by Palin. Common has held his silence long enough. Through Twitter, Common laughed and asked for a link to Sarah Palin's post about him. The Chicago rapper joked of how he woke up to find himself on the "shitlist" of former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin.

Earlier today, it was reported that Chicago rapper, Common, had been invited to perform at the White House. Common will be joined by Jill Scott, Bill Collins and Rita Dove to celebrate American poetry. Following a workshop for the children, they will perform in the evening.
Common was among the many rappers who spoke out during the presidency of George W. Bush. Given the level of disrespect he had for the previous president, many conservatives feel he should not be invited to the White House. Through Twitter, Sarah Palin made some subliminal comments.
Palin commented "Oh, White House," after learning Common was on the guest list. She also posted a link to an article written about the rapper on The Daily Caller, a conservative website. On the site, the lyrics of his song, "Letter to the Law," are posted. In this song, Common called out former president George W. Bush.

Simply due to her status, Beyonce is in the news on a daily basis, regarding her personal life. When she first entered the music industry, Beyonce dreamed of having a major career. Now an eight year solo veteran, she has been hailed as the modern-day version of Tina Turner.
Only three albums deep, Beyonce is considered by many as the top female in pop and R&B. Often, she runs neck-in-neck with her husband, Jay-Z's protege`, Rihanna. However, Rihanna has released many more albums than Beyonce. With her busy schedule, Beyonce hardly has time to put albums out.
But, following a three year gap between album releases, Beyonce intends to release her fourth studio album. Her single, "Run the World," has already become a hit. Aside from her new music, the native of Houston is still winning awards. Recently, she was honored by Billboard and will soon be presented with the Billboard Milliennium Award at the Billboard Music Awards.
