After being released from his contract with Murder Inc., Lloyd began putting his career back together. Continuing his trend of collaborating with Lil Wayne, Lloyd performed on the "Bedrock" single with Young Money. The song received massive airplay and led to rumors of Lloyd signing with the label.

Those rumors proved to be false, as Lloyd said he was still searching for the right label situation. During the summer of 2010, it was revealed that Lloyd signed with Interscope Records. As more information was revealed, Lloyd announced he had actually signed with Polow da Don's Zone 4, Inc. label.

Lloyd went from being the lone hitmaker on a long-dead record label to being on a roster full of talent. Now, Lloyd is signed to the same label as Keri Hilson and other popular artists. Late in the summer of 2010, Lloyd released his hit single, "Lay It Down." The song became a minor hit, but did enough to reintroduce Lloyd to the mainstream.

As 2010 ended and 2011 began, Lloyd released several buzzworthy singles. However, despite his efforts, the New Orleans native was not nominated for a single BET award this year. Because of this, Lloyd has spoken out against BET and the BET Awards. Lloyd performed with a live band during the pre-show of the awards and complained on Twitter later. He was upset, saying no nomination for the kid who got Lil Wayne his first number one R&B hit.

Boasting off his "You" hit, Lloyd also said he was the first person to get Andre 3000 and Nas on a track and he felt he should have taken the stage with Patti LaBelle to perform the "Lay it Down (remix)." Lloyd went on to say the industry is a mess. Keyshia Cole was similarly upset with the BET Awards when she discovered she had not been nominated for any awards.

Lloyd aligns the stars for "King of Hearts" album

In 2009, Lloyd revealed he left Murder Inc. Records, something denied by Irv Gotti, the head of the struggling label. After the release of Ja Rule's R.U.L.E., Lloyd found himself basically carrying the label. His 2008 album, Lessons in Love, was a flop, but the highest-selling Murder Inc. album of 2008.

Following a bitter dispute with Irv Gotti, Lloyd resurfaced and signed with Zone 4/Interscope Records with Polow da Don. Due to the change in labels, Lloyd found himself working with more high-profile artists. For years, Lloyd was restricted because of the feuds his label were involved in.

But, with his new label, he was free to work with any artist he felt like. Immediately, Lloyd began working with artists from G-Unit, the primary rivals of Murder Inc. While Lloyd has no issues with former Murder Inc. frontman, Ja Rule, Rule did call him out over "working with the enemy." Still, the two have worked together in the time since.

Lloyd's fourth album, King of Hearts, has been held up for nearly a year, but is slated for a July 5 release date. The lineup for the new release is filled with stars. Lloyd has called upon Game, Lil Wayne (who has been featured on all of Lloyd's albums), Andre 3000, Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, Trey Songz, and many more artists.

Taking three years off, Beyonce promised to release her fourth album in 2011. Becuase the album is her fourth release and a transitional period in her career, she decided to name the album, 4. Since her last album was met with mixed reviews, Beyonce is taking things up a notch with her latest release. On this album, Bey has decided to keep the guest appearances limited.

Among the guests on her album is Andre 3000. During the late 1990s and the early 2000s, Andre 3000 was one of the most popular artists in the game. However, in recent years, Andre 3000 has been relatively quiet, working on music. Outkast has not released an album in the past few years and are likely planning a major comeback.

Whatever the case may be, Andre 3000 made a rare exception to his rule when he hopped on Beyonce's album for her "Party" single. Following all of her hard work, Beyonce's 4 album was leaked to the internet, a problem, which has taken place for the past few years. While she is disappointed in what happened, Bey said she is happy with the response her album has received so far.

After taking three years off, following the release of her third studio album, I Am... Sasha Fierce, Beyonce is recording her fourth album. The album is properly titled 4. Feeling as if she took enough time off, Beyonce is returning with a vengeance.

Beyonce has already hit the radio hard with her first single "Who Run the World (Girls)." She performed this hit during the farewell party for Oprah Winfrey earlier this month. The song rocked the entire Chicago crowd.

While Beyonce is preparing to come back to the game and take things over, Andre 3000 is taking a backseat. The Outkast star has been very quiet since 2007. He has recorded on a few remixes, most notably Chris Brown's "Deuces (remix)."

But, for Beyonce, Andre 3000 has returned to making music, once again. The Atlanta artist will be featured on 4 on the song, "Party."
