Terrell Owens under investigation for Failed Casino Venture

Despite never holding the distinction of Super Bowl champion, Terrell Owens has enjoyed a long and successful NFL career. Sadly, this career is seemingly coming to an end. Following a semi-successful run with the Philadelphia Eagles, Owens began being swapped around the league. His unsuccessful stint with the Dallas Cowboys left a stigma on the aging star.

Last season, Owens teamed up with Chad Ochocinco in hopes of creating the Miami Heat of the NFL. While both teams had early struggles and both came up short of the title, it was done in different ways. The duo of Owens and Ochocinco failed to produce a winning record or a playoff berth. As a result, the Cincinnati Bengals reportedly have no interest in re-signing Terrell Owens.

Outside of football, Terrell Owens has become the face of VH1 with his series, "The T.O. Show." The show has shown a different side of the NFL baller. More of his childhood, growing up in Alabama, has begun to show. Perhaps, due to his luck with the television show, Terrell Owens decided to try his hand at being a casino. Along with twenty-five other NFL players, Owens invested in a casion based out of Alabama. The casino has since been shut down and is currently under investigation, according to reports.

If enough evidence is found, Terrell Owens and the other investors could be fined by the NFL, suspended by the NFL, or forced to abandon their investment, which was over $20 million.

Amber Rose goes in on VIBE magazine

Amber Rose has been at the top of news headlines of both entertainment magazines and websites for nearly six months. Rose boosted to fame due to her high-profile relationship with controversial rapper, Kanye West. Their relationship was highly-publicized in the media.

People were able to watch the entire play-by-play as the couple fell in and out of love. Finally, Kanye West and Amber Rose called it quits last summer. In the time since then, Kanye West has been linked with several women. After being photographed in compromising positions with several men, Amber Rose has now settled down with Wiz Khalifa.

In December, Amber Rose announced she was dating the rap newcomer. Following this, Rose became a staple in the gossip columns. Recently, VIBE landed an interview with Amber Rose and it has left the model highly upset. Only bits and pieces of the interview were actually used. The popular urban publication only used parts of the interview that discussed her romance with Kanye West and her fling with NFL superstar, Reggie Bush.

After reading the "interview," Amber Rose was very upset. She said VIBE does not care that people in her family have read what they wrote about her in the feature. Despite having a wild image, Amber Rose does not like the way she was portrayed in the magazine. Through Twitter, Rose made several posts discrediting the magazine.

Rashard Mendenhall under fire for Bin Laden Twitter comments

The name Osama Bin Laden reigned terror over the United States for nearly a decade. Bin Laden was often listed among the most dangerous men in the world. In 2001, he pulled off the only attack on the soil of the United States in history.

While the 9/11 attacks have been blamed on Bin Laden, there are many who believe George W. Bush, the president at the time, was also involved in the attacks. Bush was known for having several business dealings with people in the Middle East.

Late on the night of May 1, 2011, news outlets began reporting of Osama Bin Laden's death. Following the news, people all over the world have been celebrating. While Bin Laden has done bad things throughout his life, there are many who believe celebrating his death is uncalled for. God teaches the people to love everyone in spite of what they have done and not to celebrate death. Rashard Mendenhall is among the people who did not celebrate Bin Laden's death.

Mendenhall, the running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, called these people out on Twitter. He asked how a person could celebrate the death of another human being. The NFL star also questioned how people could hate someone they never met. Rashard Mendenhall said the American people have only heard one side of the story and he found it odd that a single airplane could make a structure as tall as the World Trade Center come tumbling down.

Once his comments were released, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL moved quickly to remove themselves from the statement. They also forced Mendenhall to remove his comments, but he has to yet to receive an official punishment from the NFL or his team.

Joe Budden publicly blasts Esther Baxter

Joe Budden has had his fair share of video vixens throughout his career. Following a split from one, he quickly finds himself in the hands of another woman. Regardless of the woman, each relationship has a bad ending.

Most recently, Joe Budden has been spending time with veteran vixen, Esther Baxter. After breaking up with Somaya Reece, Budden began dating her. Earlier today, Joe Budden announced his split from Baxter.

In the most public way possible, Joe Budden called out his former girlfriend. The New Jersey rapper accused her of trying to play him. Among many derogatory names, Budden compared her to Kat Stacks.

Joe Budden released a series of Twitter statuses calling Baxter out. In one update, Budden asked Baxter how she could sleep with one man while she is pregnant with another man's child. Obviously hurt by the situation, Joe Budden said he will be moving on. The rapper also called Esther Baxter a whore among other dirty names.

As Joe Budden was insulting Esther Baxter, she ended up replying to her ex. Responding to his accusation of having an abortion, Baxter said she does not kill babies, but someone else does. Baxter said she does not care what Budden has to say and accused him of being responsible for them losing their child. Esther Baxter said Joe Budden beat her while she was pregnant, causing her to lose the baby and has pictures for proof.

Not only did Joe Budden vent through Twitter, he also released a freestyle which details the entire relationship with Esther Baxter. In the new song, Joe Budden also tells about his relationship with Tahiry, another video vixen. Budden said Baxter was having sex with NFL player, Derrick Ward, while she was pregnant with his child.

There are no issues between Joe Budden and Derrick Ward. Budden said Ward was cool about everything, saying Baxter told him she left Budden in January. Ward also said he had no idea she was pregnant too.

Michael Vick nabs major Endorsement Deal

Ever since he was reinstated in the NFL, Michael Vick has been the model citizen. His career was derailed when the media discovered he allowed dog fighting in his home. This discovery cost Vick his home and his career with the Atlanta Falcons. Fans were already growing upset with his inability to win.

During his time away from the NFL, Michael Vick worked on repairing his image. Taking a page from T.I.'s notebook, Vick teamed up with BET. The network granted him his own documentary series. Vick was shown in a different light in this series, making new fans.

Upon getting out of prison, Michael Vick teamed up with former championship NFL coach, Tony Dungy. The former Colts head coach helped Vick make a successful plea to the NFL. He mentored Michael Vick and he helped him stay in shape. With Tony Dungy's help, the NFL reinstated Vick before the start of the 2009 season.

Following much stalling from several NFL teams, the Philadelphia Eagles signed Michael Vick to a short-term contract. Because their famed quarterback, Donovan McNabb, was injured, they needed a quarterback to help them. Michael Vick ended up being their choice and soon became the face of the franchise when they decided to trade McNabb away. Recently, Michael Vick was called a "hero" by The Southeastern Virginia Arts Association. Now, he has landed his first endorsement deal since 2007.

Michael Vick lost everything in 2007, including his endorsement deal with Nike. Vick is now sponsoring Core Synergy wristbands, along with several other players in the NFL.

Magic Johnson envisions Sports Empire

Ever since he retired from basketball, Magic Johnson went into the world of business. Johnson owns all kinds of businesses, but sports remain his true passion. No matter how rich he is, he still attends Laker games when he can and he even commentates some games.

Magic Johnson is now in his 50s and he feels like going back to his roots. The former NBA star is working hard in an effort to get an NFL team back in Los Angeles. Outside of his NFL aspirations, Magic Johnson has been checking in on the Detroit Pistons.

The former championship contending team is currently up for sale. As a native of Michigan and being very wealthy, naturally, Johnson was interested in buying the team. If things go well, Magic Johnson will be the owner of the Pistons. But, it appears as if the team does not want to sell to him. For many years, Johnson has been a part-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers.

While Magic Johnson doubts he will ever own the Detroit Pistons, he is confident that he will end up being the owner of some NBA team. Magic Johnson does not know if he will be the majority owner of any team, but he knows he will have an ownership role in teams of many professional sports leagues.
