Ever since their 2009 breakup, many assumed Chris Brown and Rihanna have stayed in contact with each other. Two years ago, the seemingly happy couple revealed exactly how troubled they were. It all came out in public, when the couple got into an altercation. Their fight nearly cost Chris Brown his career, along with his girlfriend.

Chris Brown was dogged by the media for a little over a year, until he released "Dueces." Brown is now considered by many as the most popular male R&B singer. With his career firmly back on track, he is slated to perform at the 2011 BET Awards. His F.A.M.E. album has posted several hits in only a few months.

Now that Chris Brown is back to being a popular star, it seems as if he is getting his girl back too. It was rumored that Brown was dating a video vixen, taking her back home to Virginia in 2010. More recently, it was revealed that Chris Brown was engaged to a new love interest. Meanwhile, Rihanna was rumored to be deeply involved with Matt Kemp of the L.A. Dodgers.

However, Chris Brown began following Rihanna on Twitter, earlier this year. In return, Rihanna began following him and it created a media frenzy. Because of Rihanna removing the restraining order against Brown, there was speculation of the two getting back together. Rihanna quickly killed this when she said she has no feelings or contact for or with Chris Brown. All of this was thrown out the window when Chris Brown tweeted Rihanna about a photo he had sent her.

Earlier this year, Chris Brown sought to have the restraining order from Rihanna against him lifted. Rihanna agreed to life the order and fans thought this was a sign. Brown said he had no interest in going back, instead he was trying to move on with his life.

Rihanna has been asked about getting back with Brown and she said she has no interest in doing so. Chris Brown has a new love interest and is happy. There were rumors of Chris Brown being engaged to his new girlfriend. Meanwhile, Rihanna has been tied to Los Angeles sports stars, such as the Lakers' Andrew Bynum and the Dodgers Matt Kemp.
