Faith Evans files for Divorce from Husband

Sunday, May 22, 2011

By Mr. Hollywood
JR Staff Writer

Before The Notorious B.I.G.'s death, his marriage to Faith Evans was pretty much over. While he was on the road, having relationships with other women, Evans had filed for separation. In the months before B.I.G.'s death, Faith Evans had started dating record executive, Todd Russaw.

Shortly after B.I.G.'s death, Evans gave birth to Joshua, her first child with Russaw. In 1998, the couple wed and they have appeared to be a happy couple. Often, the two make public appearances together. But, behind closed doors, things were not quite as happy.

Despite The Notorious B.I.G. being deceased, in many ways, his wife is still Faith Evans. When she speaks of him, it is obvious she still has romantic feelings for him. For any man, that has to be something tough to accept. Yesterday, several websites reported Faith Evans had filed for divorce from her husband.

While not providing many details, Evans cites irreconcilable differences and asked for full custody of the children. More than likely, Evans and Russaw will share joint custody.

The Notorious B.I.G.'s son to appear in Will Ferrell film

Friday, April 1, 2011

By The Film Critic
JR Staff Writer

The Notorious B.I.G. would be very proud of his son, Christopher Wallace, Jr. if he were still here. Primarily known for being the son of the dead icon, Wallace has been making a name for himself. But, the junior has avoided the rap game. Instead, Christopher Wallace, Jr. is making a name for himself as an actor.

Two years ago, Wallace was cast as the child version of his deceased father in the Notorious film. In the time since his role in the classic film, he has remained out the public eye. Acting comes natural to the young star, as his mother, Faith Evans, has had roles in many films over the years.

It appears as if Christopher Wallace is preparing for his break outside of being known for his parents. The fourteen year old actor was recently cast in Will Ferrell's Everything Must Go. Wallace will have a pivotal role in the upcoming movie. The film will be a slight change for Ferrell, primarily known for his comedic roles.

While Everything Must Go will have several comedic elements, the film will also undertake a serious tone.

Faith Evans begins New Album

Monday, May 3, 2010

Having been away from the game for five years, Faith Evans is working very hard on her comeback. Unlike other artists, she is staging her comeback from behind closed doors. She has multiple projects on tap for 2010-2011. Faith Evans announced that she wanted to create her own sitcom in 2009. However, later this year, she plans to begin starring in her own reality show.

Following her participation in the remake of “We Are The World,” Faith Evans began working on her sixth studio album. On her latest album, Faith decided to leave her longtime label of Capitol Records in favor of the indie label, E1 Music. Together with E1 and Ten2One, Evans will produce her reality show.

Later this year, she hopes that a network will pick up her reality series, “It’s All About The Faith.” The series details Faith as she works on her sixth studio album. On the album, Evans has worked with David Banner, Easy Mo Bee, and David Banner. All three of these producers are likely to appear on her series.

Despite there being no set release date for her sixth studio album, Faith Evans plans to release the album before the end of 2010.

Faith Evans prepares New Album and TV Show

Wednesday, March 3, 2010

It has been five years since Faith Evans has been in the public eye. At times, she was dragged out of her hiatus. Last year, around this time, she was involved in some controversy surrounding the Notorious film and recently, her late husband, The Notorious B.I.G.'s, estate was sued. With all of this going on, Faith Evans decided that she should use this buzz to promote herself. Planned for later this year, Faith Evans wants to put out another album and film a reality show.

Last year, Faith Evans revealed that she would not mind starring in her own television show. At the time, she was thinking along the lines of a sitcom. She had gone as far as to say that she would pay for the production. Perhaps realizing how expensive that could be, she settled upon doing a reality show, instead. Her series already has a deal with VH1, and it has been called "It's All About Faith."

In 2008, Faith Evans wanted to release a new album. But, her label, Capitol Records is focusing all of its energy on the younger, LeToya Luckett. Because of this, Evans left the label and created her own. Her new reality series will follow Faith as she gets this label off of the ground and as she works on her new album. Faith Evans will also allow the series to follow her in the day-to-day family life. For her new projects, there are no release dates. Instead, there are nothing more than timeframes and they would love to have these projects going before the summer is over.
