Two years ago, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle took initiative with her boyfriend, T.I., in prison. Before hookinh up with Tip, she was a major 90s star. But, once his career took off, she put her career on hold. However, when T.I. was behind bars, she needed something to do, so she agreed to take part in a BET reality show.

Toya Carter, the ex-wife and best friend of Lil Wayne, was also approached about the reality show. Through Wayne, she had met both T.I. and Tiny. From the start, the two hit it off and they since have become best friends. BET wanted to do a show based on their friendship, famous men, and their children.

Following the second season of "Tiny & Toya," T.I. was released from prison and he had major plans. The Grand Hustle CEO told his now-wife, Tiny, to quit "Tiny & Toya." But, after only being out of prison for a few months, T.I. was sent right back to prison on drug charges. However, BET made plans of refocusing the show solely on Toya.

This week, BET will premiere Toya Carter's new reality show, which is actually a third season of "Tiny & Toya," without Tiny. In only two seasons on BET, "Tiny & Toya" became a ratings monster. But, the most popular of the two was quickly becoming Toya with her family issues. These issues will now take center stage, as Toya is trying to juggle all of her activities and still raise her daughter.
