Dwyane Wade files for Full Custody of Two Sons

What was once a relatively private matter has gotten very public very quickly between Dwyane and Siohvaughn Wade. Their marriage has been on the rocks since 2007. In 2008, Dwyane Wade filed for divorce. Outside of the NBA and Miami, it was not much news, but that has quickly changed. As soon as Gabrielle Union came into the picture, things became complicated.

Dwyane Wade is currently living two lives, on one hand, he is a famous NBA star with a famous girlfriend. But, on the other hand, he is also a man with family issues. The fact that he lives this two-in-one lifestyle means that the price of fame is everyone being in his business. When Dwyane Wade filed for full custody of his two sons, claiming that Siohvaughn was an "unfit parent."

Wade has accused his wife of using unhealthy parenting methods and having extramarital affairs. Recently, Wade played in the biggest game of his career at the All-Star Game. Knowing that the game was going to be big, Dwyane Wade wanted his children by his side. Despite his wishes to have his children around him, his wife refused to allow them to attend the game. Wade said that there was a time when his sister, Tragil, came to pick his children up and friends of his wife circled her and prayed for her salvation.

Because of this erratic behavior being so close to his sons, Dwyane Wade wants them close to him, but his wife argues that the children are afraid to be around him. She has accused him of using mental abuse tactics to get to her. The current, but soon to be ex-Mrs. Wade, accused him of an abuse record that dates back to the year of 2006. She said that he abandoned his children, only returning last year. However, Gabrielle Union, the girlfriend of Dwyane Wade, has been with him for two years and she is said to have known his children since she has been dating their father. Union said that she has a great relationship with his children and thinks of them as her own.
