Cory Gunz has been on the New York hip hop scene for years, trying to break into the game. Despite being the son of Peter Gunz, a legend in the hip hop industry, Cory Gunz has had his fair share of trouble over the years. However, things became a lot easier when he signed with Young Money Entertainment last year.

Anticipation for Lil Wayne getting out of prison was at an all-time high and Wayne recruited him for his "6 Foot 7 Foot" single. The song went on to become a major radio hit. Since its December release, the song is still heavy on the rotation list of many DJs across the country. One song has changed the course of Cory Gunz' career.

Nick Cannon has recruited Cory Gunz and has taken on the role of his manager. In addition to managing Cory Gunz, Nick Cannon is also the executive producer of his "Son of a Gun" MTV reality show, which premiered yesterday. Following the premiere of the show, Nick Cannon said he truly believes his artist, Cory Gunz, will be bigger than Drake and Nicki Minaj.

The "Son of a Gun" series follows Cory Gunz as he establishes his career. Not only will the show follow his career, but also Gunz as he takes care of his personal business, which includes financial, and his personal ups and downs.

Cory Gunz on Son of a Gun seems very humble. I liked watching the first episode on MTV. It was filled with a lot of drama. Good thing I subscribe to DISH Network so I can watch Cory wherever I am. As a DISH employee I can tell you that DISH is the only TV provider that offers all the channels you get at home, on-the-go. Go to www.dishnetwork.com for more info.
