Rihanna has been in the game for six years releasing new material and she has drastically changed her image. When she released her first album, Rihanna's music was more island-influenced. But, she has evolved over the years.

Under the guidance of Jay-Z, Rihanna crossed over in 2006 with her hit single, "SOS." It was then that her career forever changed and she became an A-list star. Rihanna portrayed the ultimate "good girl image."

However, on her third album, Rihanna looked to change her image into something more sexy. The result of her decision led to her album, A Good Girl Gone Bad. First, her lyrics changed and later she changed her style of dress.

Rihanna has evolved from a good girl from the islands into one of America's biggest sex symbols. She has been pushing the envelope for well over five years and she plans to continue. Her latest video, "S&M," has caught the attention of everyone. The video is very racy and features Rihanna in little to no clothing. The video for "S&M" has been banned from a few music video networks.

This is a tough blow to Rihanna, as she is in the middle of promotion for her Loud album. She is upset because she was nude in 2007's "Umbrella," but that video was not banned. But, in her latest video, she is a little more sexual and the video has been banned. More than once, she has spoken in outrage about the way her video is being treated.
