Bruno Mars catches break in Drug Charge

It appears as if Bruno Mars has run into a bit of good luck after facing cocaine charges. Last month, it was reported that Bruno Mars was caught with cocaine on him and arrested. Recently, he appeared in court in Las Vegas and pled guilty. Because of his honesty, the singer was cut a deal.

Because he has no criminal history and was honest about his crimes, the judge decided to work with him. The judge has asked Bruno Mars to stay away from drugs for an entire year. By following the rules, he will be released from all of his charges. If he were to commit future crimes after this period, the drug charges will not affect him.

In addition to staying clean, Bruno Mars has to attend eight hours of private counseling. Not only does he have to attend counseling, but he also has to serve 200 hours of community service with a charitable organization. Bruno Mars was also hit with a $2,000 fine in addition to all of the other things he has to do in order to clear his name.

The work will be the hard part, as Bruno Mars quickly paid the $2,000 so he could clear his name.
