Last month, Will Smith caused controversy when he revealed his daughter, Willow Smith, was listed as his employee instead of his daughter. But, in the world of business, he had to file this way in order to maximize profits. Despite what she is listed as Willow Smith is daddy's little girl and he will do anything for her.

In a matter of months, Willow Smith has become one of the biggest pop stars in the game. Last fall, she debuted her hit, "Whip My Hair," and it became a big hit for Jay-Z's Roc Nation label. In an effort to avoid her becoming a one hit wonder, Jay-Z and the Smiths have been working hard to land her more exposure.

Currently, Willow Smith is finishing up her debut album. The album will include her hit, "Whip My Hair." She is also remaking Will Smith's hit, "Parents Just Don't Understand" for the album. Willow Smith promises to have other hits to make up the rest of the album. But, because of who her parents are, Willow has a very big legacy to live up to and the pressure is there regardless. The young Smith says it does not bother her.

In an effort to keep her exposed, Will Smith is working on landing the rights to Annie. Last year, he gained the rights to The Karate Kid and cast Jaden Smith to play as the star. If he lands the rights to Annie, his daughter, Willow Smith, will play the role of 'Annie.' With her album coming out later this year and more singles prepared to be released, a starring role in a major film would do wonders for Willow Smith. The critics have been trying to put pressure on the young star to live up to the hype.
