Ever since she made the jump from "American Idol" contestant to superstar status, there have been rumors about Jennifer Hudson. Her big break came in 2006, when she outshined Beyonce in the film, Dreamgirls. Hudson quickly became a personality.

In 2008, Jennifer Hudson's life came together after she signed with J Records. After signing with the label, Hudson released her debut album. Around the same time, she began dating reality TV star, "Punk." Right when she had everything she wanted, her world fell apart.

Hudson was preparing to move her family out of Chicago when they were brutally murdered. Her mother and her nephew were murdered by her sister's ex-boyfriend. It was then when rumors of why this happened began. For years, there have been rumors of all of the celebrities being a part of the Illuminati cult and many people speculated that Jennifer Hudson had joined.

Following the birth of her son, these rumors intensified. Jennifer Hudson has kept quiet about the rumors until recently. She said she is not a part of Illuminati and she is insulted that people would think so. Hudson feels it is the people's way of saying she does not belong where she is at, as if she did not work hard for it. If anyone is a part of the cult, Hudson feels it is the people who do not make it and they sit back and create rumors about the talented people like her.

Jennifer Hudson said it is their way of finding new followers and she warned the people not to entertain stories about Illuminati. She is preparing for the release of her second album, I Remember Me, which will be released on March 22. Her R. Kelly-written single, "Where You At," was released this week and is gaining radio play.
