Despite her string of female anthems, Jazmine Sullivan decided it was time to quit. She said she started making music because it was fun to her. The moment is stopped being fun to her would be the moment she would quit. While working on her last album, Sullivan said the music stopped being fun.
News of her retirement has spread quickly. But, the Twitter posts have been deleted. While she has deleted her Twitter posts, she has not posted anything new. Even with more hit singles, her second studio album, Love Me Back, did not fare as well as 2008's Fearless.
After her surprising statement, Jazmine Sullivan has not been available to retract her statement or explain exactly what is going on.
