Kelis sued over Nas divorce

Over the summer, Kelis and Nas had a very high profile divorce dispute. Kelis was asking for $200,000 a month from Nas in child and spousal support. While asking Nas for all of this money, she refused to allow him to see his son. Because of this, a countersuit was filed by Nas.

Nas spent more time in the courtroom with Kelis than he did in the studio, but it was worth it when a settlement was reached. In the end, the court allowed Nas to see his son. The court also ruled that Nas did not have to pay that much money. Kelis ended up losing all of the way around.

Now, things appear to be getting worse for Kelis. She now faces a lawsuit of $11 million in the Supreme Court. The singer faces another suit with a talent agency. Kelis has yet to pay the talent agency, despite being booked with Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno. She has also had some appearances on television stations in the United Kingdom.

Kelis has stated she has paid some of the fees and she plans to fight this lawsuit.
