Hip hop in the summer of 2010 will be known for the impressive debut of Drake, the strong performance from Rick Ross and the year Eminem officially reclaimed his spot. Following his chart-topping single, "Not Afraid," Eminem teamed up with Rihanna for the abusive "Love The Way You Lie."

Following a rough year for Rihanna, she benefited from being featured on the song. While her voice was being heard on the radio again, Rihanna received some flack for doing such a song after the Chris Brown issue. But, once a disclaimer was put on the music video, the song continued to rise.

Now, with fall in full swing, Eminem and Rihanna are still dominating the charts. The people want to hear more of this story and both artists want to tell more. But, Eminem does not being recording his next album until later in the fall and music will not be released until next year. Rihanna, on the other hand, is preparing her Loud album for release this fall.

In an effort to keep the fans interested in her "Love The Way You Lie" saga, Rihanna has recruited Eminem for the sequel. However, on "Love The Way You Lie (Part II)," Rihanna will have more of a say. In the first record, Eminem told things from his point of view and now the fans will receive the full showdown between the two artists. Aside from a collaboration with Eminem, Rihanna also worked with Nicki Minaj, laying to rest any beef rumors, and Drake, following their brief relationship.

Rihanna plans to release Loud on November 10, 2010 through Def Jam.
