"The Game" doing well on BET

When BET began airing new episodes of cancelled sitcom, "The Game," the episodes were met with negative reviews. Many publications slammed BET for turning "The Game" into a ghetto series. For decades, BET has been getting slammed.

Following thirty years of failures, BET has finally started to get it right. Right when the network begins to do right by the target audience, the mainstream begins to complain. The first thing BET did was turn the former low-rated sitcom into cable's highest rated sitcom.

One reason why "The Game" was met with negative reviews was because the characters were trashed. Malik was always cocky, but on the fourth season, he was downright ignorant. Derwin had always been gullable, but he ended up turning his back on his own son with little proof. Melanie always had insecurities, but she would have never swabbed a baby. Tasha was always a little rough around the edges, but she was never this materialistic.

But, critics fail to realize the show has moved ahead two years, just like the rest of the world. Derwin went from being a benchwarmer to the biggest football star in the world. Because of his superstar status, he can only trust a few people, the one person he trusts is Melanie, his wife. Malik is not only cocky, but insecure as everyone else is moving on with their life and he has already seemingly reached his peak. His actions are not because he is cocky, but because he is scared.

The reason Tasha is acting out of character is because she has more money. As the season has gone on, all of the characters have been checked because of their faults. Malik went into rehab and he has come out a better man, with a supermodel girlfriend. Melanie is still going through issues, but what woman wouldn't if they had a husband with a profile as big as Derwin's. Tasha has been checked by Terrence J's Dante character several times because of her materialism.

BET took "The Game" to new lows in order to elevate the series to new heights. Never before has a network been so involved with one series on the lineup. If anything, BET should be praised for their efforts with "The Game," especially with their own season four.

Terrence J reaching Superstar Status

The incredible ride for Terrence J continues as he is making moves all over the place. In 2006, Terrence J was selected in a fan voting to become the new host of "106 & Park." The show is the hottest hip hop program on television. Terrence J quickly won fans over on the show.

Over the past four and a half years, Terrence J has gone from another television host, to a face of the network. When BET picked up "The Game," they made a surprising announcement when they introduced new characters. Terrence J was added to the cast of the show.

Now, he is more than a television and radio host, Terrence J is a star on one of cable's highest-rated programs. Quickly, he is becoming a rising star in black entertainment. Despite his appearance on "The Game" being his first role in a television series, his performance was well-received. It appears as if he will be one of the core characters in the new season of the show.

Next week, a new film, The Heart Specialist, will be premiering in theaters across the nation. Among the people cast in the movie is Terrence J. The movie was filmed in 2006, but is being released in 2011, which happens to be a pretty good year for Terrence J. If things keep going this well for Terrence J, he could find himself starring in a few films by this time next year.

Method Man returns to Big Screen in "The Heart Specialist"

Outside of his career in rap, Method Man is probably best-known for his How High movies with Redman. In the past, he has also had appearances in such films as Soul Plane. Meth starred in an all-star cast in that film. Recently, he landed a role in the new film, The Heart Specialist.

Much like his other films, Method Man is a part of an all-star cast with The Heart Specialist. The film also stars Jasmine Guy, Leon, Terrence J, Zoe Saldana, Wood Harris, May, Brian White, and many others. The film is a medical comedy that was filmed in 2006.

The film is about first-year residents at a South Florida hospital. It centers around people in a highly-stressful situation. Despite being in a stressful situation, the people in the hospital do not appear to take things very seriously at the hospital. Method Man plays the role of 'Lorenzo' in the film, it is unclear if he is a doctor, too.

Method Man will also be starring in Jamie Foxx's upcoming television series, "Night Tales."

Brandy denies Pregnancy Rumors

Ever since her relationship with Flo Rida went public, over a year ago, Brandy has been involved in all kinds of rumors. Her relationship with Flo Rida has been rocky, at best. Flo Rida was not as serious about the relationship as Brandy. Tired of the games, Brandy decided to move on.

There were rumors of Brandy being involved with Terrence J of "106 & Park" fame. She had met him a few times after her appearances on the show. The two developed a friendship and went out a couple of times. Despite their friendship progressing, both maintain they are only friends.

Even without a male in her life, Brandy has been involved in pregnancy rumors. For the past few months, various gossip sites have said she was pregnant. Like most women involved in those rumors, Brandy tired to ignore it. Again, like most women who say nothing, the rumors only get worse until a response comes.

Brandy has stuck right with the tradition of the new form of media and denied being pregnant. She has no time for another child with so much on her plate. Not only is Brandy involved in the "Family Business" television show on VH1, she is also involved in the Family Business album, which includes the entire family.

Terrence J avoids Brandy rumors

Over the past five years, Terrence J has been living the life of a miniature celebrity. As the host of "106 & Park," he has had the chance to meet several stars. Terrence J is one of the more popular faces at BET. Realizing this, he earned another job with the network.

For ten years, "106 & Park" has been BET's most-popular show, but that will soon change. After two years of speculation, "The Game" will return on BET. In May 2009, it was revealed that The CW would not renew the show. Fans were outraged after all they did to keep the show on.

Now that the show is back and with BET, the network has had ideas to keep the show fresh. The new season will feature Terrence J as Wendy Raquel Robinson's character of Tasha's boyfriend. With that revealation, Terrence J goes from being a simple video jockey to being one of the biggest faces in black entertainment.

While he has yet to be seen with "The Game," Terrence J is already being treated like one of the major players in black entertainment. For years, he has been rumored to be dating "106 & Park" co-host, Rocsi, but the rumors never stuck. Now that he is popular outside of the show, there are rumors of him dating R&B star, Brandy. The two met early in his days at "106 & Park." When the question was asked of how he felt about Brandy, Terrence J only went as far as to say they are good friends.

Meagan Good joins BET's "The Game"

Nearly two years have passed since "The Game" last aired a new episode. Despite the lapse in time, the series is back and headlining the new BET schedule. For the first time in the network's history, BET will be broadcasting original sitcoms.

"The Game" will be the lead-in to a one hour block which also includes a new sitcom, "Let's Stay Together." After being away for two years, "The Game" has lost a few cast members. The former Los Angles Laker, Rick Fox, will not be on the show.

Earlier, it was said that both Rick Fox and Stacey Dash would be returning to the show. However, after filming the new season, which is only eleven episodes, they were not even mentioned. Fox played himself while Stacey Dash played Coby Bell's love interest.

With two cast members gone, "The Game" has brought in some new characters. Earlier this week, it was announced that Terrence J of BET's "106 & Park" would be on the show. Now, it has been revealed that the new season of "The Game" will also include Meagan Good. Good is best-known for her role in movies, such as Waist Deep, her role in "My Wife and Kids," and also her role opposite 50 Cent in his music video for his hit, "21 Questions."

Meagan Good will play Hosea Chanchez' 'Malik' character's love interest in the 2011 season.

Terrence J of "106 & Park" joins "The Game"

In 2006, Terrence J received a major boost when he was selected in a search to host BET's "106 & Park." The music video show has been the top show on BET since its inception. However, the show was struggling to maintain hosts after the departure of A.J. and Free. Terrence and his co-host, Rocsi, helped fix this.

Over the past four years, the new duo have built a major following of their own. The two held their own in a reunion show in which A.J. and Free returned for an episode. Not only has "106 & Park" gained credit as a music show, but an overall pop culture show. After The CW's cancellation of "The Game," many of the shows actors went on "106."

During one of the interviews on "106 & Park" with one of the actors of the hit series, Terrence J revealed he was a major fan of the show. While he is not an actor by nature, Terrence said he could adapt. "The Game" has found a second home on BET and the network is doing all it can for the show. Since Terrence J is one of the network's biggest personalities, he has been added to the cast of "The Game."

Terrence J confirmed these rumors and he told fans to watch out for his character. It is not clear if he will be a new player or playing a role similar to that of Barry Floyd. With "The Game" coming to BET as an original program, it will surpass "106 & Park" as BET's biggest show. It is unclear if Terrence J will continue his role with "106 & Park," or how major his role with "The Game" will be. Everything is very uncertain, but this is definitely a good look for Terrence J and BET.
