At the very beginning of the year, Amber Rose announced she would soon be in movies. Due to her relationship with several rappers, many did not believe Amber Rose. Most assumed the only movies she would be in were sextapes.

For most of 2011, Amber Rose has been in the news because of her relationship with Wiz Khalifa. Last year, Wiz Khalifa became one of rap's brightest new stars. Within a year, he was primarily known for being with Rose.

Amber Rose has had plenty of ups-and-downs in 2011, including being dissed by ex, Kanye West. Despite all the negative energy, she has still pressed on. The model revealed she was indeed telling the truth.

Throughout the summer, Amber Rose has stated she would be starring in a "western" film. Recently, it was revealed Amber Rose will be starring in a sequel of Gang of Roses. The original film premiered in 2003 and starred Lil' Kim, Stacey Dash, LisaRaye, and others.

JR Staff Writer

Nearly two years have passed since "The Game" last aired a new episode. Despite the lapse in time, the series is back and headlining the new BET schedule. For the first time in the network's history, BET will be broadcasting original sitcoms.

"The Game" will be the lead-in to a one hour block which also includes a new sitcom, "Let's Stay Together." After being away for two years, "The Game" has lost a few cast members. The former Los Angles Laker, Rick Fox, will not be on the show.

Earlier, it was said that both Rick Fox and Stacey Dash would be returning to the show. However, after filming the new season, which is only eleven episodes, they were not even mentioned. Fox played himself while Stacey Dash played Coby Bell's love interest.

With two cast members gone, "The Game" has brought in some new characters. Earlier this week, it was announced that Terrence J of BET's "106 & Park" would be on the show. Now, it has been revealed that the new season of "The Game" will also include Meagan Good. Good is best-known for her role in movies, such as Waist Deep, her role in "My Wife and Kids," and also her role opposite 50 Cent in his music video for his hit, "21 Questions."

Meagan Good will play Hosea Chanchez' 'Malik' character's love interest in the 2011 season.

Stacey Dash blames failed relationships on Absent Father

Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Stacey Dash still remains one of the most desirable celebrities after twenty years in the public eye. Unlike most women her age, Dash gets better with time. Some men would argue she looks better now than she did when she first arrived on the scene. While she has kept her looks, one thing she has not been able to keep is a relationship.

As a young girl, Stacey Dash had to deal with the loss of her father and she never got over it. Her father is still alive, but he walked out on Dash and her mother. She understands her parents grew apart, but she does not understand why her father stayed away. Even as she entered her adult years, her father never made the effort. This created an alarming trend in Dash's life.

Early in her life, her father left and there was nothing she could do about it. Throughout her adult life, Dash has had men in her life, but they never last long. She has been married quite a few times, still it does not match the feeling of having a father in her life. Her first husband was quite a few years older than her and she is currently single. More than anything, Stacey Dash longs for a father. Many of her relationships with men have suffered because of this.

Now, a little older and wiser, Stacey Dash has evaluated herself and she feels the only reason she has not had better relationships in her life is becuase she has not had a strong man in her life to start out. Dash feels if she had her father growing up, she would have not made as many mistakes as she made choosing the men to be with. She admits they were her mistakes, but she said she would not have made them if her father had been there when she was growing up.

Stacey Dash finds success as Hip Hop Video Vixen

Sunday, May 23, 2010

Not even two years ago, there was a lot of outrage about hip hop music videos. Rappers were openly exploiting women in their videos. Civil Rights leaders wanted to step in and try to make these rappers change their ways. The message to the young women in the video was they would never make it by dancing half-naked in music videos.

A lot of the women who appeared in these music videos had their eyes focused on being Hollywood stars. But, they were told the best they would get was a minor role in a hip hop film because they were only seen as meat. In the time since the public outcry over the raunchy videos, a lot of vixens have stepped up. The most notable is Tahiry Jose.

While the women once known as "hip hop honeys" have decided they are better than doing music videos, Stacey Dash has had no problem stepping in. She has been a star since the mid-1980s. Many of the women who starred in music videos had their sights set on becoming the next Stacey Dash. They were being told the only way to do so would be to dump the music videos and try a real acting role. Taking that advice, Stacey Dash traded in Hollywood for the music videos.

Over the past ten years, Dash has been making the transition away from Hollywood and into music videos, but the transition has been gradual. In 2001, she starred in the music video of Bad Boy Records' singer, Carl Thomas for his "Emotional" video. Three years later, she was the star of Kanye West's "All Falls Down" video and she later starred in Marques Houston's "Favorite Girl" video. In between time, Dash was still starring in movies and making television appearances. However, as the time has gone on, she has settled in the role of video vixen. In the spring of 2010, alone, Stacey Dash has starred in music videos for Game and Rick Ross, both videos are receiving regular rotation on music video channels.

The initial video vixens felt they were too good to do music videos. As a result, they have gone on to create huge followings over the internet. While the women simply trying to get a foot in the door decided they were better than music videos, a true star and veteran in Stacey Dash has decided to step away from Hollywood in an effort to become a video vixen.

Stacey Dash stars in Rick Ross' video

Monday, April 26, 2010

Having been in the game for some time, there is not much that Stacey Dash has not done. She has made a career for herself based off of her looks. Her pretty face made her into a star, but her curvy body is what kept her in business. Because the times have changed, her star has dimmed. Despite all of that, Dash remains in the game.

In 2004, rapper Kanye West gave her a much-appreciated boost when he featured her in the video for "All Falls Down." It did wonders in reintroducing Dash to the game. She went on a bit of a rise. Last season, Stacey Dash landed a recurring role on the hit sitcom, "The Game." But, the cancellation and renewal has wiped her role out.

While she may not have a television show, Stacey Dash will be on television screens for a while. Rapper Rick Ross released the first single from his Teflon Don album last month and the song has become a hit. As it currently stands, Rick Ross is one of the hottest rappers in the game. Most of his music ends up being popular.

With Stacey Dash in the video, her face is likely to appear on MTV, VH1, and BET throughout the summer of 2010. Because of who she is, Dash will draw in a large male audience to the video, herself. Because of who he is, Rick Ross is likely to have this video top "106 & Park" regardless of who is featured alongside he and Ne-Yo in the video.

Stacey Dash and Jamie Foxx?

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

For the past few weeks, Stacey Dash and Jamie Foxx have been making appearances together. Ironically, she divorced her third husband three weeks ago. Dash showed up at the Academy Awards with Foxx and she attended the pre-ceremony event with him.

Throughout his career, Jamie Foxx has played the role of a single man. In his acting career, he almost always plays the bachelor and in his music career, all of his songs revolve around seducing women. While he has never had a public relationship, he does have a daughter, who attended the 2006 BET Awards with him.

In the past, Foxx was rumored to be in a relationship with R&B singer and "American Idol" winner, Fantasia. They shared a passionate kiss on-stage at the 2006 BET Awards. But, it was revealed that it was nothing more than a publicity stunt. What is likely more than a publicity stunt is his friendship with Stacey Dash.

Stacey Dash has been in high-profile relationships throughout her career. Almost two decades in the industry and Dash still looks just as good, if not better, than she did when she first made her debut. Jamie Foxx is also considered to be one of the best looking celebrities.
