JR Staff Writer

Outside of his own projects, Jamie Foxx is a businessman and steadily making deals. Foxx has produced several projects over the past few years. To date, his most-notable project was the MTV series, "From Gs to Gents." Now, Foxx will be trying his hand at sketch comedy with a new series.

Inspiration for the new show, titled "In the Flow," was inspired by past FOX comedy sketch, "In Living Color." Foxx was also a part of "In Living Color." The exposure on the show allowed Jamie Foxx to boost his career. Following the series, he had minor roles in movies, which led to his "The Jamie Foxx Show."

Foxx's new series will be hosted by Affion Crocket and it has been given the green light by FOX. The show will run this summer, in order to keep fans interested. Networks have been trying to change things up in order to keep fans interested in their programming all year long. Jamie Foxx's new project will be the first, among many, by FOX to keep fans interested.

The series will air six episodes this summer.

Trey Songz working on New Album, plans 2011 release

Saturday, February 5, 2011

By The Music Scoop
JR Staff Writer

Ever since his 2005 debut, Trey Songz had always been in the shadows of other male R&B acts. The game has been dominated by both R. Kelly and Usher for years. Ne-Yo was immediately added to the list, along with Jamie Foxx, in 2006.

In 2009, Usher's album was pushed back and Ne-Yo had no plans of releasing any music. Meanwhile, Mario and Trey Songz worked on new music. Mario released his album during the summer and Songz released his single during the summer.

Fans not familiar with Trey Songz had mistaken him for Mario more than once. Before the end of 2009, there was no question about who Trey Songz was. After his "I Invented Sex" hit, he received many comparisons to R. Kelly.

Last year, Ne-Yo and Usher both released new albums, but they were still being overshadowed by music released by Trey Songz in 2009. Before the end of last year, Trey Songz had released another album and it also overshadowed the releases from the other veterans. Now, with his popularity at an all-time high, Trey has decided to strike while the iron is hot.

Trey Songz is already back in the studio, working on his fifth studio album, which he plans to release before the end of 2011.

Reality television junkies were first introduced to Baron Colon when he participated in Jamie Foxx's MTV series, "From G's to Gents." The show dealt with men rough around the edges changing their images.

Colon had a rough image, including wild hair. Apparently, he had a lot more than that in his past. The former reality star has made headlines recently for past crimes. Before he made his appearance on "From G's to Gents," Colon was truly a g.

Baron Colon was arrested in Miami for committing a murder in 2006. The murder stemmed from a botched robbery. The police said he was a suspect during his time on the show. Last year, the police found a break in the case.

Jamie Foxx lands TV deal with NBC

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

By Mr. Hollywood
JR Staff Writer

Outside of his music and television career, Jamie Foxx is hoping to venture into creating his own television shows. Last month, FOX revealed they had picked up Foxx' sketch comedy show. Now, barely one month later, NBC is also in business with Jamie Foxx.

The series is called "Tommy's Little Girl" and it is about an attorney/assassin who is out for revenge. She was the daughter of a mob boss, who was murdered along with the rest of her family. She is in a position of power and she uses it to strike back.

Jamie Foxx has always had interest in multiple topics and he is glad his comedy show and his drama have been picked up. Foxx believes "Tommy's Little Girl" will be a hit because a show with this concept has never been done before. He has been innovative throughout his career.

Despite the show being picked up by a network, there are not any actors currently signed to a contract with the series. A trailer for the show was filmed in July, but the actors did not sign contracts because no one expected the show to actually be picked up. Now that the program has been picked up, both Jamie Foxx and the NBC network have been on the phone with the actors from the trailer.

Stacey Dash and Jamie Foxx?

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

For the past few weeks, Stacey Dash and Jamie Foxx have been making appearances together. Ironically, she divorced her third husband three weeks ago. Dash showed up at the Academy Awards with Foxx and she attended the pre-ceremony event with him.

Throughout his career, Jamie Foxx has played the role of a single man. In his acting career, he almost always plays the bachelor and in his music career, all of his songs revolve around seducing women. While he has never had a public relationship, he does have a daughter, who attended the 2006 BET Awards with him.

In the past, Foxx was rumored to be in a relationship with R&B singer and "American Idol" winner, Fantasia. They shared a passionate kiss on-stage at the 2006 BET Awards. But, it was revealed that it was nothing more than a publicity stunt. What is likely more than a publicity stunt is his friendship with Stacey Dash.

Stacey Dash has been in high-profile relationships throughout her career. Almost two decades in the industry and Dash still looks just as good, if not better, than she did when she first made her debut. Jamie Foxx is also considered to be one of the best looking celebrities.
