Throughout his career, Jay-Z has changed the way the game has been played. Initially, he was a rapper with his own record label, but he expanded this into a multimillion dollar company. Now, considered one of America's savviest businessmen, Jay-Z raps as a hobby.
Recently, Jay-Z was booked for a performance in Las Vegas, where he is slated to show off his hobby. The Roc Nation founder will ring in the New Year in Sin City and the performance will not come cheap. Jay-Z will be entertaining 2,500 people as the year comes to a close at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
Always hustling, Jay-Z made sure he would make a pretty penny for working on the holidays. In order to make the trip more entertaining, Jay's wife, Beyonce, will also be in attendance. The couple is always busy and they hardly have time to spend together. But, things will be different as they will be waiting on 2011 together.
To help the couple wait will be $1 million that Jay-Z will earn for doing the performance. Beyonce will be in attendance, but she will not be performing. Instead, Jay-Z's buddy, Chris Martin from Coldplay will likely be helping him out.
