Monica talks Lil' Kim's absence on New Single

Attempting to follow in the footsteps of Keyshia Cole, Monica recruited Lil' Kim and Missy Elliott for a new single. Much like the breakout Keyshia Cole hit, "Let it Go," Monica sampled a beat from The Notorious B.I.G. The new Monica single samples the controversial "Who Shot Ya."

Unlike Keyshia Cole, in 2007, Monica has had some issues with her song. The Lil' Kim verse was omitted from the song, because Voletta Wallace, the mother of Biggie, has blocked her. When the song was released, many wondered why Lil' Kim's verse was taken off the song.

Monica confronted all of the questions through her Twitter. She said she was beyond disappointed at what happened. Monica said both she and Missy Elliott are hurt. Due to the fact that Lil' Kim is both their friend, and a legend, they feel as if Lil' Kim should be a part of the single. Unlike them, Lil' Kim had an actual relationship with The Notorious B.I.G.

Monica also revealed she is fighting as hard as she can to get Lil' Kim back on the record. She is doing this for two reasons, the first is because Lil' Kim's verse is the best on the song, and the second is because she has much love for Lil' Kim. However, with Voletta Wallace pulling the strings, they will be sued if they release the Lil' Kim version of the song.

Lil' Mo offers support to Missy Elliott

Late last month, Missy Elliott came forward to explain her break from the music industry. At one point, Missy Elliott was the biggest female in the game. With the ability to both rap and sing, each of her albums ended up being a major success. But, over time, Missy Elliott faded away with no explanation.

Before the release of her last album, The Cookbook, Missy lost an incredible amount of weight. There was much outrage because of this. Throughout her career, Missy Elliott preached about being proud of the way you look. Now, at the peak of her career, she was losing weight.

However, Missy Elliott revealed her weight loss came with her battle with Graves disease. Lil' Mo, one of the artists Missy helped nearly a decade ago, is offering her support. Knowing what she is going through because of her mother's battles with Graves, Lil' Mo said she would be there for, because she has been instrumental in launching her career.

Nearly a decade ago, it seemed as if Lil' Mo was going to become one of the new key players in the R&B game. Teaming up with Ja Rule, she recorded several hit singles. However, soon Lil' Mo found herself replaced by Ashanti, while Fabolous continued to work with her.

Missy Elliott recruits Timbaland and Pharrell for New Album

For the past couple of years, many people have wondered what happened to Missy Elliott. The last time Missy released a solo album was 2005's The Cookbook. However, in 2008, Missy Elliott began promoting her next album, Block Party. But, for unknown reasons, the album was never released.

Missy Elliott soon stopped promoting her 2008 album and was again forgotten. Recently, it was revealed that Missy Elliott was actually going through a health crisis. Again preparing to put together a comeback run, Missy Elliott made an appearance on VH1's series, "Behind the Music."

Only days after appearing on "Behind the Music," Missy Elliott is back in the news. Working on new music, Missy Elliott decided to team up with old friends. During the 1990s, Missy rose to fame with her multiple collaborations with Timbaland. Going back to what worked, Missy Elliott recruited Timbaland for her new album.

Aside from Timbaland, Missy Elliott also has Pharrell providing production work for the new album.

Olivia talks 50 Cent and G-Unit departure

In 2007, 50 Cent made a shocking statement when he revealed he had dropped Olivia from G-Unit Records. At the peak of his feud with Ja Rule, 50 Cent signed Olivia to serve as his "Ashanti." Despite being brutally dissed by 50 Cent and his associates, Ja Rule made a strong comeback in 2004 and 50 Cent countered with Olivia.

50 Cent had a strong year, in 2005, when he released his album and the hit single, "Candy Shop." The song featured Olivia on the hook and was embedded in the brain of many fans. At the time, it seemed as if the future was very bright for Olivia. She had a previous record deal with J Records, but things did not work out for her.

Two years into her time at G-Unit, Olivia was dropped from the label, but 50 Cent said there was no beef. However, before the end of 2007, 50 Cent dissed Olivia, saying she likely had a sexual relationship with Missy Elliott. While Olivia denied having a sexual relationship with Missy Elliott, there were rumors that she and 50 Cent had something going on.

When asked about her relationship with 50 Cent, Olivia said they kept it professional at all times. However, when she was asked about her departure from G-Unit Records, Olivia said she has not been completely paid for her time with the label. Olivia said she and 50 Cent have talked several times about the money he owes her and she said he will be paying her back.

Ever since she has been so critical of men in both her music and with her statements, many sites have been trying to call Keri Hilson a lesbian. Her last album was titled No Boys Allowed and she said she would never date a rapper. Pair this with the rumors of Missy Elliott dating several women in the game and the stories start.

Missy Elliott has been rumored to have dated Ciara, following her work on the Goodies album. For the past two years, there have been rumors of Ciara and Keri Hilson having a feud. The best way to really get things going is by getting involved with the ex of a major rival. While both women deny their feud and relationships with Missy Elliott, gossip sites hear what they want to hear.

Recently, Missy Elliott addressed the Keri Hilson rumors via Twitter. She said it was funny how she has only met Hilson a few times and there are already rumors of the two having relations. The story spread through the internet like wildfire and many other sites picked up on the news.

Yesterday, Keri Hilson angrily responded to the rumors. She said Media Takeout has no idea what they are talking about. Not only is Keri Hilson not dating Missy Elliott, Hilson does not even know the woman. In the four years she has been in the game, Keri Hilson said she may have seen Missy Elliott a total of two times. Of those two meetings, Keri Hilson said they may have had one small conversation, but they do not even know each other, let alone had an affair.
