Janet Jackson lands deal with Lionsgate Entertainment

Four years ago, Tyler Perry reached out to Janet Jackson in order to get her on his Why Did I Get Married? film. The movie went on to be another success for Perry. In 2004, Perry landed a deal with Lionsgate Entertainment and they have promoted and distributed all of his films.

Tyler Perry has built the most-successful black-owned film company. Janet Jackson has been one of Perry's highest-profile employees over the years. Outside of the business, Perry became good friends with Janet Jackson. Around the same time, she broke up with Jermaine Dupri.

Throughout late 2009 and early 2010, there were rumors of the two dating. The rumors proved to be false and Jackson may have had other motives. Perry has made millions for Lionsgate through his company. Janet Jackson has helped Perry make some of his millions. Now, she has spoken directly with Lionsgate Entertainment and she has a deal of her own.

Janet Jackson recently landed a movie deal with Lionsgate. Under the terms of the deal, she has to produce and write one movie for the company. If all goes well, they may enter a long-term partnership.

Janet Jackson wants to Start a Family

Frequently, there are rumors surrounding all of the celebrities as media outlets are always looking for ways to gain more viewership. Janet Jackson understands this more than anyone as her late brother, Michael was a famous victim of the media. Due to her being not only a Jackson, but also flamboyant, Janet has also been targeted by the media.

Over the years, there have been rumors about who she dates and what she is into. But, throughout her long career in music, film, and television, Janet Jackson has been involved in only a few pregnancy rumors. Unlike many other females in the game, Janet has avoided having children by the many men she has either married or dated.

But, at the age of 44, Jackson does want to start a family. She grew up with a big family and she has always wanted a lot of children herself. However, with no plans of marrying her current boyfriend and age catching up to her, the odds are against her. Janet Jackson understands this better than anyone and she said if it is God's will it will happen. She does realize it may not be God's plan for her to have children, but she hopes and prays that it is.

Janet Jackson finds a New Love

Last summer, Janet Jackson dealt with one of the lowest points of her life. Her slide went into high speed when Michael Jackson, her older brother, died. At the time, she was developing a bond with filmmaker Tyler Perry as she was filming Why Did I Get Married, Too? She had to leave immediately to be with her family while they represented Michael.

For months, her relationship with record executive, Jermaine Dupri, had been falling to pieces. Because of his job, Dupri was often on the road, working. Jackson did not have much of an income as she had been dropped from Def Jam. Jermaine remained at the label, which caused strain. But, when he, too, was fired, the strain increased.

Finally back at home, Janet Jackson found herself busy when she received the news that Michael had died. With their relationship on the rocks and the distance killing them, Janet Jackson decided to break up with her longtime boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri. Both Jackson and Dupri insist that they have remained friends. However, following her time with Dupri, Janet Jackson began making appearances with Tyler Perry. A few months ago, JR posed the question if Janet Jackson had moved on with Perry.

Janet Jackson frequently mentioned that Tyler Perry was there for her with all that she had gone through last summer and Tyler Perry began speaking of a new woman in his life. He said that he would not reveal who the woman was, but he hinted at Janet Jackson. Despite all of the hints, no official announcement was made and the rumors eventually blew over. Still, Janet Jackson has remained great friends with the wealthy Tyler Perry and when her new boyfriend was revealed to be rich, many thought she was ready to open up about her relationship with Perry. Instead, she is with an Arabian man.

It is said that Janet Jackson has been dating an international businessman from Saudi Arabia for the past few months. While Perry may have been there for Janet Jackson when she needed someone the most, he was only there as a friend. The question of Tyler Perry and his relationship status still often comes up, but he no longer makes any hints of who his "special woman" is. There is a possibility that he picked up the wrong vibe from Janet Jackson during their time together during the filming, the death of Michael, and when she broke things off with Jermaine Dupri.

Tyler Perry gears up for “Madea’s Big Happy Family”

Always thinking ahead, Tyler Perry is already planning his film after his next film. Right now, Perry is putting the finishing touches on his For Colored Girls… film. But, after that there was nothing else planned for Tyler Perry. Quickly, Perry has changed things and he has decided to begin working on his next movie.

In 2004, Tyler Perry went from being a successful playwright into being a successful filmmaker when he signed a movie-production deal with Lionsgate. In the time since the deal was made, Perry has been creating hit movies left-and-right. Ever since his 2005 hit, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Perry has had nine consecutive box office hits.

With an all-star cast which included Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey, it appears as if his upcoming For Colored Girls… project will be another hit for him. Following his next film, Perry will be returning to his comedic roots. One more time, Tyler Perry will be dressing up to portray the role of Madea.

Tyler Perry will soon be getting back into the Madea outfit for his upcoming Madea’s Big Happy Family film. The film will be released next spring on Easter weekend on April 22, 2011.

Janet Jackson opens up about Michael

Last week, Janet Jackson made an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." She was joined by Tyler Perry and the cast of his new film, Why Did I Get Married, Too? Jackson starred in both this film and the original version that came out in 2007. She made an appearance as a member of the cast. Filming for the movie began last summer, but did not wrap until last month.

The reason why it took so long to complete the film was because of the death of Michael Jackson, the older brother of Janet. When news about his death broke, Janet Jackson had to drop everything and be with her family. Tyler Perry was very understanding and he put the film on hold. During this time, she became extremely close to Perry. She has admitted that she could not have gotten through that time without him.

Despite her multiple public appearances with her family, Janet Jackson had not made an official public appearance since the death of her brother. For her first public appearance, Jackson chose to sit down with Oprah Winfrey. While she was on the show as a part of the film, she also opened up about her brother for the first time. Winfrey asked many questions about his declining health. Janet admitted that she was aware that he was not healthy and that the family had held an intervention.

But, because she did not see Michael very often, there was only so much that she could do. Janet Jackson said that she wishes that things could have turned out differently. But, because they did not, she hopes that there will be stricter rules in place that will stop this from happening to anyone else.

Last year was very tough for Janet Jackson. It was preparing to be a big year as she had signed on to star in Why Did I Get Married, Too? The film served as a sequel to the original film created by Tyler Perry. But, the death of her older brother placed the film on hiatus.

Not only did Janet Jackson lose her brother, but she would soon end her relationship with Jermaine Dupri. With everything going on, she felt that her relationship could not survive. Despite breaking things off with Dupri, they would remain friends. They even worked together on the soundtrack for this film.

While she was going through her tough times, Janet Jackson turned to Tyler Perry for comfort. She began seeing Perry, but not in a romantic way. Recently, Jackson appeared on "The Tyler Perry Show," and she told Perry that she did not know where she would be without him.

Dating back to last summer, Janet Jackson has not had a male relationship in her life. Meanwhile, there have been many questions about Tyler Perry and his sexuality. While he was able to prove that he was not gay, Perry denied being in a public relationship. There have been times when Perry admitted to being in a relationship with someone "special," but he has never announced a lady in his life. Recently, Perry said that he was seeing someone. When he was asked of who he was seeing, Tyler Perry said that he was not going to tell who it was. It is possible that he and Janet Jackson have been dating ever since 2007.

Janet Jackson reunites with Jermanie Dupri for New Song

Last summer, while she was dealing with the death of her older brother, Michael, Janet Jackson revealed that she was no longer with Jermaine Dupri. They had been together for nearly ten years, but they were hardly seeing each other. Not wanting to deal with the long distance relationship, Janet decided to end the relationship.

Because she was needed by her family, there was already a major strain on the relationship. They both decided that it would be best to move on. Despite no longer being in a romantic relationship, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri remained good friends. For her next album, she still recruited him for production.

Not being in a relationship with Janet Jackson has not stopped Jermaine Dupri from being a great producer. As previously reported, Janet Jackson is going to sing on the soundtrack of her new film, Why Did I Get Married, Too? Her song, "Nothin'," was produced by her ex-lover, Dupri. The production of the song required that they spend a little time together.
