Rihanna approves Chris Brown's restraining order Request

Two years ago, around this time, then-teen couple, Chris Brown and Rihanna had a very public fight. It was soon revealed the two often had physical fights. But, right before the Grammys, the couple fought in public. Chris Brown suffered in a major way in the aftermath of the fight.

Los Angeles County ordered Brown to keep his distance and stay away from Rihanna. Despite the ruling, Rihanna still wanted to see him. The time away led to both moving on and into new romances. Last year, Chris Brown enjoyed a successful comeback and it hoping to revive his career.

Recently, Chris Brown went to Los Angeles to see if the restraining order could be removed. When the order was first made, Brown could appeal after two years. But, the media made it seem as if he wanted to get back with Rihanna. Brown informed the public it was time to check up on the order and he was simply ready to put that part of his life in the past.

Rihanna heard about Chris Brown trying to appeal the restraining order and she made it clear she had no interest in getting back with him. Brown made it clear he no longer had interest in her, either. Both singers had been invited to attend the Grammys and Chris Brown did not want to get into trouble with the law by being too close to Rihanna. She sympathized with him and she decided to lift the restraining order and allow her ex to move on with his life.

Cee Lo to perform at the Grammys

Eccentric R&B star, Cee Lo Green, has recently been added to the list of performers at the Grammys. The news comes on the heels of the reclusive Dr. Dre performing this year. Cee Lo will be joined on stage with Hollywood starlet, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Cee Lo will be performing a few of his hits from 2010. When he released "Fuck You," it made waves across the media. The song was censored to "Forget You" for radio and promotional reasons. Cee Lo may decide to perform the original version.

After years of being dormant, Cee Lo made a major comeback last year. While he does not release new music each year, he does want to remain relevant. Cee Lo does not want the his upcoming performance to be his only moment in 2011.

Aside from sharing the stage with Gwyneth Paltrow, Cee Lo will also be performing with the Muppets. He will perform several songs with the famous puppets.

Rihanna and Drake performing "What's My Name?" at Grammys

In 2009, Rihanna and Drake dated for a short period of time. Rihanna was fresh out of a relationship with Chris Brown. Despite ending on bad terms, she was still hung up on him. Drake was also fresh out a relationship.

Because of this, the couple did not last very long, not making one year. Very rarely did the two ever mention each other. Entertainment magazines and gossip sites tried to pair them off. Still, the former couple did not interact.

When Rihanna announced her Loud album, she had two major Young Money surprises. Following her split from Drake, Nicki Minaj was very critical of Rihanna and offered to diss her. But, after officially meeting, Nicki Minaj hit it off well with Rihanna. The two became such good friends that they recorded two songs for Loud. Rihanna also announced she would be recording with Drake, who provided the rap vocals to "What's My Name?"

The song has become a major hit and an anthem for females around the world. Reportedly, the song will live on at the Grammys. Ever since making this hit, Rihanna and Drake have started a close friendship and they will reunite in Los Angeles to perform "What's My Name?" for the Grammys.
