Years ago, R. Kelly boasted of all the things he never dreamed he would have. His 1999 single, "Did You Ever Think?" talked about a "crib with a 50 acre lawn." In the video, R. Kelly was at a huge mansion for most of the song.
Apparently, this mansion was based on one R. Kelly was already residing in. For the past eleven years, his primary residence has been at an 11,000 square foot mansion in Chicago.
Upon construction, the home was worth $5.2 million. Each year, the value of the house has decreased. Currently, the house is worth $3.8 million. It has been a year since R. Kelly last lived in the home.
Now, he is facing a $2.9 million foreclosure lawsuit and will likely lose the abode.
