Following a mini-hiatus, in 2008, Rihanna has been dominating the game with her past two albums. Rated R was released on the heels of her public fight with Chris Brown. While her image suffered because of the fight, record sales soared. Last year, Rihanna's image recovered and Loud was a major success.
From the album, Rihanna has posted several hits. Before even being out one year, Loud already has five singles released, four of which have hit the top 20. Two of those four have topped the Billboard Hot 100. Aside from all the hits, there was a bigger record Rihanna had broken, she had the most number one hits in the span of five years.
Many would call Loud a success and feel Rihanna should be celebrating. Instead, she is on tour, promoting the her latest album and she is sneaking in studio time. Initially, many people felt as if she was recording an entirely different album, but that is not the case. While Rihanna is working hard, she does not intend to work that hard.
Before the end of the fall season, Rihanna will re-released her Loud album.
