There have been rumors of Mariah Carey being pregnant ever since she married Nick Cannon. For two years, the couple denied expecting a child. But, last year, the rumors started again and Mariah Carey began showing.

Nick Cannon soon revealed he was going to be a father, saying he was excited. The story got a little crazy when rumors started about the couple having twins. Most people did not believe it, but the rumors were true.

Once the rumors began flooding the gossip sites, Mariah Carey admitted they were expecting twins. But, for the most part, the couple has kept their pregnancy quiet. Much like the other super couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce, they want to stay away from the media.

After experiencing a miscarriage in 2008, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are excited about the second pregnancy. When they discovered they were having twins, a source close to them revealed to the public that it would be a boy and a girl. Excited, the couple has come out and confirmed they will have a son and daughter later this year.
