Floyd Mayweather invests in 50 Cent's film, "Tomorrow Today"

Last year, 50 Cent began focusing more on his film ventures, launching Cheetah Vision Films. Early in his career, 50 Cent expanded his G-Unit company into clothing and films. Each division was highly successful in the early days. But, following his low record sales, the entire company fell off.
In the days since G-Unit Films shut down, 50 Cent has been trying to rebuild his film interests. Cheetah Vision Films landed a $200 million deal to produce films for Lionsgate, an independent company. Still, 50 Cent is working hard on his own original films.
50 Cent's latest film is Tomorrow Today, which he has written and will be directing. The film needed an investment and 50 turned to his boxer friend, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. He announced the new film at the Sundance Film Festival after premiering his other film, Gun. 50 Cent has also produced such films, Caught in the Crossfire and Things Fall Apart.
Filming and production for Tomorrow Today will begin in the summer in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
