Chris Brown wants to be near Rihanna again

Nearly two years have passed since Chris Brown had a very public altercation with Rihanna. The two had been dating for two years, but got into a fight in public. It was soon revealed that the two got into physical fights all of the time.

Even after the fight, Rihanna still wanted to be with Chris Brown, but law enforcement kept them apart. The altercation ruined the rising career of Chris Brown. Rihanna, on the other hand, was labeled crazy by most.

With all of the negative press surrounding them, the couple had to end things. Chris Brown's 2009 album was black-balled by the media. Meanwhile, Rihanna's career was put back together and she charted another hit.

Now, as the times have changed, Chris Brown has topped the charts again and he is friends with Rihanna's rebound man, Drake. Since things are looking good on both ends, Chris Brown has appealed to the courts to allow him near Rihanna again. With their careers in different directions, Chris Brown says this has nothing to do with him wanting Rihanna back. Instead, he is simply ready to put this part of his life in the past and move on to something better.
