Last week, Jermaine Jackson returned to the headlines when he revealed he could not afford his child support. Despite making a lot of money throughout his career, Jackson finds himself in a tremendous amount of debt. For the past decade, Jermaine Jackson has been trying to stage a comeback.
Recently, Jermaine Jackson put himself back in the headlines as he revealed he was robbed. The older brother of Michael Jackson told law enforcement he had been robbed. He is claiming he is out of $150,000 worth of jewelry. But, this robbery occurred three months ago.
Jermaine Jackson is arguing that he cannot afford his child support payment of $3,000 a month because of the robbery. Jackson did not, however, intend to sell the jewelry in order to make cash. Long before the death of his brother, the Jackson family has been in debt. Various members of the family have tried to rebuild the family empire.
The story Jermaine Jackson is telling might not gain much credibility. The robbery did not take place recently, he has waited three months to report this robbery. He conveniently waited until after he revealed he could not afford his child support to reveal this news. Because of this, it may appear as if Jermaine Jackson is simply looking for some money so that he can afford to pay his child support. Expect more news on this story in the coming weeks.
