Ciara talks 50 Cent dating rumors "He's my best friend"

After her public 2006 breakup from Bow Wow, Ciara began spending time with the much older 50 Cent. The couple never admitted to dating, but the signs were there. During the summer of 2007, the couple made multiple public appearances. Also, during this period of time, Ciara released "Can't Leave Him Alone."

Rumors of the two dating enhanced because 50 Cent was featured on the song. When the video came out, the rumors became more abundant. The song is about a relationship with a risky guy and 50 Cent plays Ciara's love interest. In the video, not only do they kiss, but they are also very physical.

Once the video was released, Ciara and 50 Cent could not escape the questions. 50 Cent never confirmed a relationship, but he said he enjoyed feeling on Ciara in the video. In 2008, during his feud with Lil Wayne, 50 Cent and Ciara reportedly broke up when 50 Cent forbade her to do records with any Cash Money artists.

In the time since their "breakup," the public appearances have ceased and Ciara has been tied to Atlanta rapper, Ludacris for some time. Recently, Ciara was asked about her relationship with 50 Cent. She denied the two currently being a couple. But, when she was asked about the two dating in the past, she managed to dance around the topic. Later, Ciara admitted she has not had a serious relationship since her breakup from her ex, Bow Wow, in 2006.

Ciara said the reason she and 50 Cent were together was because they are really good friends. She said they have been best friends ever since her breakup from Bow Wow. In recent months, 50 Cent has been romantically linked with E! personality, Chelsea Handler and Ciara to Ludacris.
