Drake and Nicki Minaj tie the knot

"I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I'd it admit it, I hope one day we get married just to say we fuckin' did it." This quote comes off the recently-released Drake single, "Miss Me." When the track was first heard, early this spring, it raised eyebrows. There were rumors of Nicki Minaj having a fling with Lil Wayne, but the attention was on her and Drake.

Following the rumors, Nicki Minaj denied Drake having any real feelings for her. She said Drake came up with the line just to stir up a bit of media attention. It is safe to say that his line was able to do that much. Even after Nicki's denials, Drake came out and said he was very serious about what he said. Still, fans did not know what to believe.

When Lil' Kim began her assault against Nicki Minaj, Drake quickly stepped into the crossfire, only to find himself dissed by Kim. It was clear he did not like anyone to speak in a negative manner about Nicki Minaj. Drake said he would not let anyone speak against his family the way she did. But, he has never stepped in for any other member of Young Money when they were being dissed. Now, the secret is out and he was probably just doing what any boyfriend would do, defending his girl. But, at the time, even Drake was keeping silent on his relationship status.

Nicki Minaj and Drake have been blowing up Twitter with the news about their marriage. While the marriage has been confirmed by the two rappers, no one from the executive branch of Young Money has come out to say anything about the marriage.
