Ne-Yo speaks quietly about New Album

It has been two years since Ne-Yo last released an album. He debuted in 2006 and he released an album every year. After releasing his first three albums on the heels of each other, Ne-Yo took 2009 off. While he was gone, such R&B stars as Trey Songz and Mario had some time to shine. Now, Ne-Yo is coming back with a new album that he wants to release before the end of this year.

While Ne-Yo openly admitted that he was recording a new album, he refused to go into direct detail. He said that he would be doing things differently for his fourth album. No collaborations have been announced, but he has hinted at possibly working with some other artists. Ne-Yo said that he cannot reveal anything about this album because it would ruin the surprise that he has in store for the fans.

So far, most of this album has been recorded in Atlanta. As it currently stands, there is no release date for this album. Ne-Yo has stated plenty of times that it will be released this year, but an actual album title has yet to be announced, either.
