Soulja Boy confirms Diamond split

Earlier this year, Soulja Boy confirmed rumors of him dating Diamond, of Crime Mob. For years, Diamond had been with Lil' Scrappy. But, the couple had decided it was time to end things.

When Lil' Scrappy discovered Diamond was dating fellow Atlanta rapper, Soulja Boy, he wished them luck. Lil' Scrappy said he was happy for them and was ready to hear new Soulja Boy music.

The blessing from Lil' Scrappy may have been a sign for the worst. After being together for a little over four months, the couple is already over. When he was asked about his relationship status, Soulja Boy said he was not with anyone.

While he is no longer dating Diamond, Soulja Boy said he still maintains a friendly relationship with her. He also wished her the best in whatever she has going on.

Uncle Luke says Wiz Khalifa went soft

Last year, Uncle Luke made himself relevant when he became the star of his own reality show. He remained in the public eye when he announced he was running for mayor of Miami. For the past few months, Uncle Luke has stayed around by providing commentary on several hip hop events.

Earlier today, Uncle Luke called out Wiz Khalifa, one of the newer artists in the game. Last fall, Wiz burst to fame with his hit single "Black & Yellow." He remained in the spotlight when it was revealed he was dating Natalie Nunn. When he dumped Nunn for Amber Rose, their love triangle stayed in the headlines.

On a daily basis, Wiz Khalifa is in the news for his relationship with the former girlfriend of Kanye West. It seems as if everyone has had an opinion about their relationship. The frequent comments have caused the couple a little hardache, whether the want to admit it or not. Recently, Wiz and Amber took another hit when Uncle Luke called out Wiz Khalifa.

Uncle Luke said Wiz Khalifa has gone soft over Amber Rose. He said the first unwritten rule in the rap game is to never date a woman who has already been with another rapper. Before her relationship with Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose became famous as Kanye West's girlfriend. Uncle Luke said Wiz Khalifa is not the only rapper to break "the bro code." Among the other offenders Soulja Boy and MempHitz. Uncle Luke said hip hop is not like sports, where athletes all date each other's exes.

Uncle Luke said Wiz Khalifa has no focus, as he fell for a trifling woman, such as Amber Rose, who only loves the spotlight.

Sean Kingston is Back to Work

Last month, Sean Kingston was involved in a major jet ski accident in Miami. Kingston made the announcement on Twitter the same morning, announcing fun in Miami. The fun came to an abrupt end when Kingston and a female friend hit a barrier and had to be rushed to the hospital.

The media reported Sean Kingston was in critical condition and close to death. For days, following the initial news release, there were no new press releases. Nearly a week went by without and update on Sean Kingston. Soon, Kingston was released from the hospital and speaking with the media.

Sean Kingston informed the public he was doing much better and actually working on new music. Now, almost a month since his tragic accident, Sean Kingston is back to work. Back in Miami, he is working on a music video with singer, Iyaz. The video will have cameos from Travie McCoy and Soulja Boy.

Sean Kingston said the Lord has given him a second chance at life and he is going to cherish it.

Ice T disses Soulja Boy's "Juice" remake

Three years ago, Soulja Boy was knocked off his throne as the new prince of hip hop. His catchy single, "Crank Dat," won fans all over the world. As quickly as he won these fans, he won many critics who hated his lack of lyrical ability. Out of all his critics, Ice T became the most vocal.

During the summer of 2008, Soulja Boy celebrated the success of his debut album. Following a sluggish start, his album rebounded and certified gold. Even with all of his success, Ice T still felt the young rapper was undeserving. Ice T called Soulja Boy out several time and the two began an internet war.

Before the end of 2008, a truce was brokered between the veteran rapper and the newcomer. Soulja Boy has said he has respect for the music from Ice T. However, that respect is not enough for him not to defend himself when someone begins calling him out. Many thought Ice T was wrong for going after someone who was so young in age.

Having kept his mouth shut for three years about Soulja Boy, Ice T is back at it. Recently, Soulja Boy has been all over the news in his personal and professional life. The Atlanta rapper is dating Diamond, a rapper from Crime Mob. Outside of his new girlfriend, Soulja Boy is starring in a remake of the classic, Juice, and he is playing the role of "Bishop," originated by Tupac Shakur. This news has hit fans and has been met with mixed reviews.

There are some who support the remake and others who think it should be left alone. Ice T is among those who believe the Juice remake should be left alone. Last weekend, a picture was shared on the internet of Diamond and Soulja Boy in an Atlanta club. After the photo began being spread across several websites, rumors started about the two dating. The next day, Lil' Scrappy's mother blasted Diamond for leaving her son and getting with Soulja Boy.

When Lil' Scrappy's mother spoke out, Diamond and Soulja Boy confirmed their relationship. Their statement was speaking directly to Scrappy's mother. Many critics have had negative things to say about Soulja Boy regarding his lyrical ability. No matter what he does, the critics continue to insult Soulja Boy. Some hip hop publications have said he is among the worst rappers ever. Meanwhile, they crown rappers such as Tupac among the best.

To die hard fans of Tupac, any comparison between a rapper with the status of Soulja Boy to Tupac is a sign of disrespect. Soulja Boy recently revealed he would play the role of "Bishop" in the remake of the movie. Tupac Shakur famously portrayed the role over fifteen years ago. Critics and die hard fans agree there are certain projects that cannot be remade.

Keri Hilson prepares collaborations with Chris Brown and Kanye West for "No Boys Allowed"

As the year comes to a close, Keri Hilson is preparing to release the follow-up to last year's debut, In a Perfect World... The album, which is titled No Boys Allowed, is an effort by Keri to show the world she is a female that can hold her own alongside the men.

The title of the album has turned heads, but Keri Hilson said she is not trying to exclude men. She proved this by teaming up with the likes of Kanye West and Chris Brown for the record. Not only is she working with them, but Hilson also has a track with the ever-popular Rick Ross, "The Way You Love Me."

A music video has already been filmed for her single with Ross and it will soon be released. On this album, Hilson wanted to invite men on the record and leave the boys at home. The album will feature the previously mentioned tracks and the collaborations, along with her hit single, seemingly a response to "Pretty Boy Swag" by Soulja Boy, "Pretty Girl Rock."

Keri Hilson plans to release No Boys Allowed on December 21, 2010. She will be making a host of appearances in order to promote for the album.
