Steve Francis accused of Sexual Assault

Saturday, July 23, 2011

Ten years ago, Steve Francis had one of the brightest futures in the NBA. Despite being a great individual talent, Francis was not the best team player in the world. Drafted by what would become the Memphis Grizzlies, he turned off fans because he refused to play for the team.

Sent to the Houston Rockets, Steve Francis briefly played alongside Hakeem Olajuwon. However, Steve Francis failed to make the playoffs each of his seasons in Houston, even after Yao Ming joined the team. Soon, Francis was traded to the Orlando Magic.

While the team was explosive and Steve Francis shined, the franchise still suffered. When Dwight Howard began emerging as a star, Francis was traded. Following his short stint with the New York Knicks, Steve Francis was sent to several teams. Quickly, he was benched because teams had no time for his antics and Steve Francis soon discovered no NBA team wanted him.

Steve Francis last played in the Chinese Basketball Association. Back in May 2010, Steve Francis reportedly groped a 20-year-old woman through her clothes. The woman immediately went to the police to file a report. Apparently, the woman is a singer signed to Steve Francis' record label. When they met at his office to discuss the contract, Steve Francis groped her.

Rashard Lewis denies sleeping with LeBron James' girlfriend

Right when it seemed things could not get worse for LeBron James, they apparently did. The Miami Heat star is currently struggling and his team is falling apart at the worst time of the season, the NBA Finals. Much of the blame has fallen upon James and then there are rumors of his girlfriend being unfaithful.

Rashard Lewis played for the Orlando Magic when they stopped the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009. LeBron James was not only the star of the Cavaliers, but he was also the season MVP. Lewis' game-winning three pointer of game one stopped Cleveland from ever having an advantage in that series.

Fast forward two years later and LeBron James has been outcast from his hometown for leaving Cleveland. Not only is he unwelcome at his own home, much of his credit on the basketball court has been given to Dwyane Wade. Through it all, he remained strong and the Heat made it all the way to the NBA Finals and he has to hear all about this.

Earlier today, Rashard Lewis released a statement denying he even knows Savannah Brinson, the longtime girlfriend of LeBron James. Lewis called Brinson to see if she was doing alright and offered an apology to his rival, James. While the two are on-court rivals, Rashard Lewis does not want to have any issues with him off the court. By the looks of things, the situation will quickly blow over and now LeBron James can focus on getting the Miami Heat back on track to win their next two home games.

Rashard Lewis reportedly slept with LeBron James' girlfriend

The past year and a half have been mixed for LeBron James. After winning his first MVP, in 2009, many expected him to finally capture the NBA championship. Instead, his Cavaliers lost in six games to the Orlando Magic. Among the main components in this demise was Rashard Lewis, who buried key three pointers.

Two years later, it sounds as if three pointers were not the only thing Lewis was burying to disappoint LeBron James. Recent rumors suggest the current Washington Wizards forward had sexual relations with James' girlfriend. Nette at 97.9 The Box said the encounter took place when Lewis played against Miami.

Nette said she has sources close to the situation, who called the infamous Tiger Woods story. This person has a home in Orlando, close to Rashard Lewis' home. Not only is this person a neighbor, he also clubs with Rashard Lewis. Due to Lewis' NBA status, all of the talk was LeBron James and his performance in the NBA Finals, with drinking involved, Lewis reportedly said he slept with Savannah, the girlfriend of LeBron James.

Following James' terrible performance, Stephen A. Smith said LeBron was going through trouble off the court. Similarly, during the 2010 NBA Playoffs, James had less-than-LeBron-like play and Smith said he was going through personal problems. Only then, it was revealed his teammate, Delonte West, had slept with his mother. This time, it seems as if LeBron James is struggling with the fact that Rashard Lewis helped oust him out of the 2009 playoffs and slept with his girlfriend.

Shaq and Hoopz are the Happy Couple

Sunday, May 22, 2011

There have been rumors surrounding the relationship between NBA superstar, Shaquille O'Neal and Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander ever since they hooked up. O'Neal was in the middle of a nasty divorce from his wife, Shaunie, and Hoopz had nearly been forgotten, years past her VH1 days.

While Shaquille O'Neal has been with various women, he and Hoopz seemed to be a mismatch to most. Last year, there were rumors of O'Neal popping the question to Hoopz. Before the end of the year, stories said the two had broken up. The rumors suggested Shaq had demanded all his high-price gifts back.

Despite all of the rumors, Shaq and Hoopz have done well with each other. Perhaps their love of basketball is what has kept them together. Hoopz was still a child, playing basketball in her back yard when Shaquille O'Neal was breaking goals with the Orlando Magic. Things have definitely changed since then.

Even with the tough season, Shaq has been able to count on Hoopz being there for him. She has adjusted well to his lifestyle in front of the sports media. Often, Hoopz is mentioned by the sports announcers of ESPN and other sports outlets. For Hoopz, it is not too much of an adjustment being in front of the camera, as she starred in "Flavor of Love" and the original "I Love Money."

In the eyes of most fans, Dwight Howard is the fun-loving big man for the Orlando Magic. Every time he is in front of a camera, Howard has a big smile. Kobe Bryant, the star of the rival Lakers, once said Howard was a "goofball."

While Dwight Howard is known for his sense of humor, he is all business when it comes to Royce Reed. Last year, fans got to know Reed through "Basketball Wives." She is the ex-girlfriend of Howard and mother of his child.

Last year, Dwight Howard sued Royce Reed because she continued making negative comments about him. Howard has presented himself as a positive role model for children, earning sponsorships. Reed's comments, if taken seriously, could lead to him losing endorsements.

Because of her negative comments, Dwight Howard sued Royce Reed for slander. Howard won the suit and the judge ordered Reed to pay the All-Star center, $500,000. One year has passed since Howard won the suit and now he is ready to collect. Royce Reed has yet to pay Dwight Howard and he is now demanding his money with interest.

Dwight Howard said Royce Reed now owes him $551,606.74.

Steve Nash receives Lap Dance from Nicki Minaj

Thursday, April 21, 2011

This year, Steve Nash finds himself in an unfamiliar position, outside of the playoffs. Ever since he signed with the Phoenix Suns, in 2004, they made the playoffs each year, with the exception of 2009. Nash has led the team and even won consecutive MVP awards.

While the past season may not have gone so well for Nash, his offseason has been fantastic. Recently, Steve Nash decided to go to the Young Money concert in Phoenix. Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj have been headlining the I Am Music II tour. They have made several stops already.

Nicki Minaj has been giving lap dances to many of the people who have come to the concert. She was caught on camera giving lap dances to Lil Wayne. For a little while, it seemed as if he was the only person receiving lap dances. This was a completely different story in Phoenix. Steve Nash has had a rough year, but things got a lot easier for him.

Nash was pulled on stage by Nicki and she gave him the lap dance of his life. Now single, Steve Nash said the lap dance was not a big deal to him. But, he went on to deny the allegations of her body being fake, saying that was definitely real. Earlier this month, news leaked of Nash's former teammate, Jason Richardson, of the Orlando Magic, being the father of Nash's ex-wife's newborn baby. Many believe this is why he was traded to Orlando.

Jason Richardson allegedly knocked up Steve Nash's wife

Steve Nash has been the face of the Phoenix Suns ever since he signed with them in 2004. Over the years, he has had several different players in the backcourt with him. In 2009, Jason Richardson was traded from the Charlotte Bobcats to the Suns, becoming Nash's new backcourt mate.

The two had great chemistry on the court, propelling Phoenix to a solid 53-win season and a trip to the Western Conference Finals, ultimately losing to the Lakers. Off the court, it seemed as if Nash and his backcourt mate, Richardson had a strong relationship. Rumor has it, Richardson had a much stronger relationship with Nash's wife.

In December of 2010, Steve Nash filed for divorce from his wife, one day after she gave birth to his child. While the child was supposed to be Nash's, many say the child was black. Richardson was traded from the Suns to the Orlando Magic in the same week. Initially, rumors stated Shaquille O'Neal was the father of the child, but reports are now saying Jason Richardson is the culprit.

If this is indeed the case, it would all make perfect sense. Steve Nash discovers the child is not his and files for divorce from his wife. A little investigating leads him in the direction of Jason Richardson. Being the face of the team, Steve Nash takes his issues with Richardson to the front office. Not wanting their franchise player upset, the Phoenix Suns trade Jason Richardson to a contender in Orlando in exchange for a similar player in Vince Carter.

Despite getting rid of Richardson, Steve Nash and the Suns have struggled, missing the playoffs one year after nearly beating Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.

LeBron James begins his Summer Vacation

Saturday, May 15, 2010

After years of letdowns and disappointment, LeBron James was supposed to finally break through this year. Following their heartbreaking loss to the Orlando Magic in last year's Eastern Conference Finals, the attitude of the Cleveland Cavaliers changed. The change was led by LeBron's attitude. He went from thinking about simply dominating to thinking about the championship.

In an effort to build a team to dispatch the Orlando Magic, the Cavs made the seemingly right moves to build them for a playoff run. With the assumed demise of the Boston Celtics, the Magic were the only team thought to be able to handle Cleveland. LeBron James thought of only winning a championship throughout the summer of 2009. The season could not come fast enough for him.

Quickly, LeBron James was able to get his team to come together and they dominated the regular season. They posted the top record in the NBA and they swept the season series from Kobe Bryant and his defending-champion Los Angeles Lakers. With those two wins, LeBron James was considered to officially be the best player in the NBA and his team looked unstoppable. Even with the best record in the league, the team decided to add another scorer in Antawn Jamison just to be on the safe side.

When the playoffs started, only one word was spoken of, championship. LeBron James embedded this into the minds of his teammates and they truly believed that they could defeat the Orlando Magic. Facing the heroic Chicago Bulls in the first round, the Cleveland Cavaliers easily rolled over them. In the next round, they had the aging Boston Celtics. The entire basketball world was expecting LeBron James to put on an amazing performance that would end the Celtics' run in the second round. Two years prior, the Celtics had stopped James and his Cavaliers in the second round.

But, LeBron James seemed to dominate in game one, as he led the Cavaliers to a victory. But, in game two, the Boston Celtics stunned them with a blowout win in Cleveland. But, LeBron James dropped 38 points to blowout the Celtics in Boston and taking a 2-1 win. Most Cavalier fans saw game two as a slip on the part of their superstar. Follwoing that game, he seemed to be focused and he battled a close game in Boston. But, in the fourth quarter, the Celtics stormed back and won the game. The top-seeded Cavs featuring the two-time MVP, LeBron James were the only team still playing in the second round.

The Magic that they were waiting to defeat were waiting on the winner of the series and their manufactured rivals, Los Angeles Lakers, were in their Conference Finals, facing the Phoenix Suns. With the spotlight now on the best team in the league struggling against a has-been, LeBron James cracked under the pressure and his team fell to the inferior Boston Celtics. The 2009 Cavaliers had been built to take out the Celtics, but when they fell to the Magic, they proved to be weak against them. For the 2010 season, the Cavaliers were built to take out the Magic, but they got rid of pieces that were in place for the Celtics.

Now, LeBron James has an early start to his summer vacation. He will not get much rest as every team in the league will be throwing themselves at him. James is a free agent this summer and every team wants a piece of him, most notably, the New York Knicks. Teams cannot openly approach LeBron James until July, so he will have a full month to relax before the media frenzy fully emerges.
