Tuesday, June 14, 2011

Almost every woman in front of the camera has had some kind of interaction with Sean "Diddy" Combs. If he has not dated, or had children by one woman, he has made music with another one. The newest woman in front of the camera is Kreayshawn. She is a white female rapper from the West Coast.

With Diddy's renewed focus on Bad Boy Records, he needed something new to attract fans. In 2009, he left Atlantic Records, his label of five years. After his departure from Atlantic Records, Diddy landed a bigger deal with Interscope Records. Aside from his record label, Diddy has been managing Rick Ross for over a year.

Kreayshawn had a chance to become Diddy's next leading lady, but she turned him down. Diddy offered her a lucrative deal with his label and she considered it. But, at the end of the day, Kreayshawn ended up signing to Columbia Records. She said she has a fatherly relationship with Diddy and that she keeps a picture of him and of herself from kindergarten with her at all times.

When she signed with Columbia Records, Kreayshawn said Diddy was highly upset with her and said he was going to sign her to a bigger deal.

Diddy explains cancelled Concert Stops

Saturday, April 30, 2011

Aside from being one of the top businessmen in the world, Diddy is also a popular hip hop artist. At least he was one of the top artists during the 1990s. Over the years, he has watched as listeners have tuned him out in favor of other artists. From the beginning, Diddy said he was not a rapper.

While Diddy is not a rapper, he said he has to finish what he started, regardless of what it is. Diddy began his rap career as a hobby, but began taking it seriously when The Notorious B.I.G. died. As the flagship artist of Bad Boy Records, he could not just back away from the spotlight.

Diddy is now focused on maintaining his businesses, so he cannot continue his career. Last year's Last Train to Paris is his final album before he gives it up. With the album comes the "Coming Home" tour, which is him "coming home" from Paris. Several of the stops have been removed from the tour, but without an explanation.

With it all in the past, Diddy admits the reason the tour has cancelled dates in Florida and Mississippi is because the ticket sales have been low.

Nude Photos of Diddy and Cassie leak to Internet

Thursday, February 10, 2011

For years, there have been rumors of Diddy carrying on a relationship with Cassie. Ever since she signed with Bad Boy, in 2005, Diddy has gone out of his way to suit her. He created a joint venture deal with Ryan Leslie and made her the face of several advertising campaigns.

Because of all he has done for Cassie, there have been rumors about the two having some sort of fling. Last year, Nicki Minaj rapped of how she could take Cassie from Diddy on Usher's hit single, "Lil' Freak." After the release of the song, there were rumors of Diddy dating Nicki Minaj.

Those rumors proved to be false, although Diddy did sign her to a management deal with Bad Boy Records. Over the past few months, Diddy has talked a lot about his personal life. He made news when he purchased a Maybach for his son, Justin. Because of his wealth, Diddy wants his children to live a good life.

The father of six children, Diddy said he would not have any more children until he was married. When asked about having a girlfriend, Diddy was rather silent. But, recently, the photos of Diddy with his top employee may have revealed something about the mogul. The two were not only nude together, but sharing a passionate kiss. The rumors had stopped for a while, but they will likely be back on the front page of many websites, once the photos are shared across the internet.

Diddy drops Donnie from Bad Boy

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

When Diddy was working with Day26 for his "Making the Band 4," he had a lot of talent. There were many men vying for a spot on the final band. Along with the people he liked, there were the people he did not like. From the start, he clashed with Donnie, but he could not deny the talent he was.

Diddy portrays a nice-guy demeanor, but he is very demanding when it comes to his work. Despite mistakes being a part of the learning process, they are not accepted in Bad Boy. Diddy can be very stubborn and downright mean when mistakes occur. The pressure he put on his workers did not compare to the pressure Donnie put on himself.

There was one time when Diddy was getting on the entire crew for not doing their job. In the middle of his rant, Donnie yelled out "really?" and Diddy lost it. From that moment on, he rode the lone white guy left harder than any other person competing. In the end, he explained to Donnie that he liked the attitude he displayed. However, he would not tolerate being disrespected especially in a company he build. Soon, he had Donnie placed into the band, but he did not fit in.

Because of this, Diddy soon had Donnie removed from Day26 and he made him into a solo artist. For the past two years, Donnie J. Klang has been a solo artist. To date, he is most-known for a song which featured both Diddy and Ja Rule. The song had nothing but star power behind it. It did not even make a dent on the charts. Still, Diddy realizes the potential Donnie has, but because he is reorganizing the company, Diddy decided to allow Donnie to leave the label and pursue other opportunities.

Diddy sparks a Vodka War

Friday, March 26, 2010

Credited as one of the first true hip hop moguls, Sean "Diddy" Combs has done it all. He began his career as a background dancer. Combs was able to stick around long enough to prove himself as a record producer. Soon, he would land a deal with the defunct Uptown Records. It would not take long for Combs to land an executive role with the label.

Because of his strong personality, Sean Combs would not last with Uptown. But, his career was far from over, as he would create his famous record label, Bad Boy Records. It did not take long for his label to be a success. Following the music, he expanded into clothes, fragrance, and other small businesses. Aside from  the music and the clothes and fragrance, Diddy has made his claim to fame with his television works.

Most recently, Diddy has expanded his business interests to a new line of vodka. While his Ciroc brand has been around since 2007, it did not gain fame until recently. Because of the newfound popularity of his brand of vodka, Diddy referred to all of the competing brands as "pee pee." His rivals took offense to this and they vowed revenge on Combs. They informed him that they would bring a large toilet full of their vodka to his Manhattan offices and they have done so earlier today.

Lloyd wants a New Label

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Without Lloyd, the downfall of Murder Inc. Records would have been a whole lot worse. He signed to the label right in the middle of the G-Unit feud. The next year, he released his debut album, which revived the label for a short period of time. Not even the popularity of Lloyd could keep the CEO of Murder Inc., Irv Gotti, out of the reach of the law. When the label came under investigation, they lost their distribution deal with Def Jam.

Being dropped by Def Jam cost the entire label two years of productivity. While all of the Murder Inc. artists were upset at the hindrance provided by the case, it really got to Lloyd. In 2006, he attempted to leave the label, but Irv Gotti convinced him to stay. He stayed and the label rode off of him and his next two albums. Then, last year, he tried to leave the label, again and Irv Gotti refused to let him do so. Behind the scenes, a deal was reached and Lloyd got off of the label.

Now that Lloyd is off of Murder Inc. Records, he wants to find a new label home so that he can release a new album. His relationship with Lil Wayne, plus their frequent collaborations led some to believe that he may sign with Young Money. While Lloyd has admitted that he would not turn down Young Money, he said that he has not spoken with Lil Wayne about signing with the label. However, his name has been linked to Jay-Z and Roc Nation. It is also possible that Diddy may sign him to Bad Boy Records. All of the solo male R&B artists on the label are gone, with the exception of Donnie Klang.

Currently, Lloyd is talking with some label and they are close to a deal. Lloyd has not given up much information, but he has said that he is close to signing a major deal with a new label. Regardless of his label situation, he wants to release a new album this year.
