Last year was an unusual year for Omarion, he released an album that was unsuccessful. His career began almost a decade ago with his brother, Marques Houston. Houston was a part of the group, Immature (later IMX). The group's little brothers formed B2K and Omarion was the lead singer.

Following their 2003 breakup, Omarion embarked upon a solo career. In 2005, he released the hit single, "O." The song was followed by the successful album. The album went gold behind the popular singles, "O" and "Touch." It was then that Omarion joined the club of singers compared to Michael Jackson.

In 2006, Omarion returned with his next album. Late in the summer of 2006, the first single, "Entourage," was released to the radio. Late in the fall of 2006, the second single, "Ice Box," was released and was the most successful single off the album. The remix of the single featured Usher and it was a major hit well into 2007. But, Omarion disappeared from the spotlight after the final single.

During the summer of 2009, Omarion signed with Young Money and recorded the hook to "Bed Rock." He soon left the label, though, not even there for two weeks. Omarion set up his own record label with EMI and he recorded his third album, Ollusion. The album featured the minor hit single, "I Get it In." The song received only moderate radio play. With no breakthough single and no promotion, the album did not even sell 100,000 copies.

In the time since he recorded his last album, Omarion's publicity comes from rumors now instead of his music because he is no longer a force in the game. Recently, rumors spread through the internet that Omarion was bisexual. The rumors went on for a long period of time until Omarion spoke out. Through Twitter, he said he does not care about what anyone else does, as far as sexual orientation. However, while he does not care about others' sexual preferences, he said he loves women and only women and that he is not bisexual.
