Lil Wayne contemplates retirement for His Children

Before everything else, Lil Wayne is a father. Early in his career, right when he began touring, his longtime girlfriend, Toya, gave birth to Reginae. For the longest time, Lil Wayne was the father to only one child. However, his career took off in 2008 and his popularity grew.

Lil Wayne was already a famous rapper and a father, but his capacity in both categories grew tremendously. Wayne had two children on the way and his album was triple platinum. It was during this time when Lil Wayne discussed retiring for the first time.

Because he was still relatively young, Lil Wayne said he would likely retire when he was 34 or 35. Now, with his most-recent album Tha Carter IV, on the way Lil Wayne is discussing retiring again. Unlike many other big names, Lil Wayne wants to end his career on his own terms. Lil Wayne intends to retire on top, when he does retire and may do so after the release of this album.

Now the father of four children, Lil Wayne said he wants to retire while he is still young so he can spend more time with them.

Nicki Minaj touring with Britney Spears this summer

Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj said she would not be doing any more collaborations for the next two years. For the past two years, she has worked with some of everybody in the game. But, now as one of the biggest names in hip hop, Nicki Minaj decided she was going to take a step back.

While Nicki Minaj intended not to collaborate with anyone until sometime in 2013, she was willing to break this rule. The only artist she would collaborate with in the meantime was Britney Spears. With her new album in the works, Nicki Minaj said it would have no guest appearances.

Nicki Minaj said she did not plan to record with anyone, but she ended up breaking this. Lil' Twist revealed she provided a verse for his Don't Get It Twisted album. Drake has also said Nicki Minaj will be featured on his second release, Take Care. Nicki Minaj, herself, announced she would be featured on the upcoming Tha Carter IV from Lil Wayne.

Due to label obligations, Nicki Minaj was forced to collaborate. But, good things come to those who do right by others. According to rumors, good things may be coming in Nicki's direction. Multiple rumors have said she will be an opening act for Britney Spears' tour, which should begin this June. Nicki Minaj is currently touring with Lil Wayne on the I Am Music II tour.

Lil Wayne's $5.6 million tax debt Released Online

Back on top of his game, Lil Wayne is currently enjoying the success of his "6 Foot 7 Foot" hit. By the looks of things, nothing could spoil the rapper's fun. After spending most of 2010 in a jail cell, Lil Wayne intends to dominate 2011, making 2008 seem small in comparison.

With Tha Carter IV coming next month, Lil Wayne is raking in all kinds of cash. He also profits from his Young Money label, through stars, Drake and Nicki Minaj. Even with all of these sources of income, Lil Wayne could soon run into trouble. The rapper is facing tax issues.

Tax troubles have gotten the best of many black entertainers over the past few years. Ronald Isley and Wesley Snipes are among the people who have served, or are serving time, only naming a few. Rapper, Ja Rule is headed to prison after being $2 million in debt. Lil Wayne's debt, however, is much bigger than that of Ja Rule, as he owes a whopping $5.6 million to Uncle Sam.

Lil Wayne owes taxes on money made during the 2008-2009 period. This was the period in which he released Tha Carter III and expanded his Young Money roster.
