Serena Williams denies dating Drake

Earlier this week, there were rumors about Serena Williams and Drake getting together. Drake and Serena Williams have been spotted together several times. These rumors come after stories had Drake paired with Rihanna and Williams with fellow rapper, Common.

At one of her recent tennis matches, Drake was there to give support to his friend. Drake stated he and Serena Williams have gotten closer in recent months. The two have been friends for a long time. But, being in the same city meant they spent more time together.

However, because both Drake and Serena Williams are big-name stars, gossip sites made the two a couple. Drake has stated he is looking for a new leading lady. Serena Williams has made it obvious she would like to get married. Rumors had stated Common had popped the question to her.

Regardless of who Drake wants and who Serena Williams is engaged to, Serena said she and Drake are not involved in anything more than a friendship.

Serena Williams hospitalized with Blood Clot in Lung

Serena Williams has become one of the most famous athletes in the world over the past ten plus years. Along with her sister, Venus, she is known as the greatest tennis player of all-time. She has also become a well-known sex symbol because of her curves and selection of tennis outfits.

Two years ago, rumors began to circulate about Williams dating rapper, Common. The rumors were confirmed and the two made their relationship public. But, not long after they confirmed their relationship, Williams and Common were on the rocks. Because of their hectic schedules, they had to call things off.

On Monday, Serena Williams' problems were much bigger than her on/off relationship with Common. Early in the day, she fell ill and was taken to the hospital. It was soon discovered that Williams had a blood clot in her lung and she was rushed into surgery. The surgery went well for Williams, however.

For the remainder of this week, Serena Williams will remain at Cedars (Sinai Medical Center) for observations. Sources close to Williams say she is recovering well and should soon return to form.

Earlier this year, Common broke up with his longtime girlfriend, tennis pro, Serena Williams. Despite the two having strong feelings for each other, they felt a relationship would not work for them. Williams is still dominating professional tennis, while Common is still mastering rap and branching out.

The bond the couple shares was not easily broken. Even though they were no longer dating, they still talked with each other. More than once, both Common and Serena have stated they are the best of friends with each other. It was only a matter of time before this led to something more.

Neither of them wanted to end the relationship, so it made it that much easier when they got back together. Forever the competitor, Serena Williams injured her foot during a match. To her rescue was the mastermind behind such hits as "The Light," "Come Close," and "I Want You." While she has been down, Serena Williams has been able to count on Common to be by her side.

This news has made waves because Common has yet to move on with another woman and Serena has yet to move on with another man. The door is wide open for another chapter in their relationship.
