Renaldo Price nominated for 'Best Urban Act' at Online Music Awards

The past few months have been hectic for Renaldo Price. He has been touring all over the place. Along the way, he has performed at the same venue with Keyshia Cole and other stars. Recently, Price sang to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, Kandi Burruss.
Having brushed shoulders with so many stars has not distracted Price from his goals. While he has experienced tremendous success over the past few months, the goal has not been reached. However, he has come very close.
Renaldo Price continues to make new friends and new fans everywhere he goes. His A Man Like Me EP has benefited from the new connections he has made. Famous British DJ, Tim Westwood, recently announced the nominees for hte Online Music Awards.

This is a long time coming for Renaldo Price. Representing Louisiana, Renaldo Price has been working for years to make his dreams into a reality. Price has put in both the physical labor and he has put in the work to make things happen. After years of putting out songs and performing, the people are finally taking notice.
Renaldo Price has spent most of 2011 performing as opening acts for major stars. Initially, Price was seen as nothing more than an opener for such stars as Kandi Burruss and Keyshia Cole. But, after he wowed fans multiple times, many are now coming to see Renaldo, himself, perform.
Still, Price remains unsigned and he is still lining up most performances as an opening act. However, fans do not see it this way. The fans are no longer only paying to see the established stars. Everywhere he has gone, Renaldo Price has earned a new fan and he is working as hard as he can to win more. With his smooth vocals, he has had no trouble winning people over.

All of the work Renaldo Price has put in over the years is paying off, piece by piece. Price has been doing what he loves for nearly ten years with a smile on his face. Like all human beings, Renaldo has wanted things to go a little faster, but he has the maturity to keep things in perspective.
Renaldo Price had a short stint on "American Idol," but he feels his big break is right around the corner. In 2010, Renaldo Price began putting together live performances. One year later, Price and his team have lined up several different performances. These performances are not only in his area, but they are all over the country.
The year of 2011 has been incredible for Renaldo Price, not only is he performing, but he is performing with the stars. What would make most people nervous is making Renaldo Price stronger. The singer has performed at shows hosted by 1990s R&B star and current "Atlanta Housewife," Kandi Burruss. He has also opened for Keyshia Cole.

For years, Renaldo Price has been on the scene. Price is very modest, but he is one of the more gifted voices on the underground scene. Like most men, Renaldo Price is ambitious and he is full of dreams. Unlike most men, Renaldo Price has pushed for his dreams, even if they are unattainable.
In 2010, Renaldo Price made major moves that caught the attention of major labels. Several majors are interested in adding Price to their roster. Along with label offers, a few companies have even approached the Louisiana crooner about endorsements. Still, he maintains a modest outlook on life.
Renaldo Price has not gotten ahead of himself, by any means. The singer still works a regular job, while his dream is his side hustle. But, he has been making moves over the past few months. Last year was big for Price, but the first four months have been incredible for Renaldo. Recently, the singer performed at an event hosted by Kandi Burruss.
Last week, Renaldo Price rocked the crowd at a Keyshia Cole event. There are many artists who are great when they host their own shows. But, it takes a special sort of artist to be able to perform under pressure the way Renaldo Price has. The singer has been in the presence of proven veterans and he has outperformed quite a few of them in his recent string. The climb has steadily continued for Renaldo Price, even though he still has a long way to go. For Price, he believes the journey is just as important as the destination. What started out as a dream has had him all over the place, as it becomes reality. Price has been everywhere from board meetings to a spot on "American Idol."
While he is currently preparing for the official release of his long-awaited EP, A Man Like Me, Renaldo Price is performing all over the nation. Following his successful performance in Los Angeles, Price has landed another major gig. The Louisiana singer will be performing at an event hosted by Kandi Burruss.
Burruss was a member of Xcape and was a major R&B star during the 1990s. For most of the 2000s, Kandi Burruss was considered a star of the past. But, her career was revived when she agreed to star in the Bravo series, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." Through the show, Burruss has shown people how she has still been successful, behind the scenes, through her business ventures.
Renaldo Price will be a part of one of her ventures, "The All White Affair." The event will take place in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. The performance will take place on May 21, 2011. If anyone said going after their dreams were easy, they were lying. For well over five years, Renaldo Price has been fighting for hid dreams. In 2002, he was a contestant on "American Idol." Despite having the talent, Price was not the winner.
Instead of getting upset, Renaldo Price understood it was just not his time. Because of this, we went back into the studio and sharpened his game. Now, working independently, he has everything working out in his favor.
While Renaldo Price is not nationally known, yet, he is well on his way to getting there. Not only does Price sing, but he also works a full-time job. Renaldo Price would love to officially hit the big time, but if things do not go as planned, he has something in his back pocket to take care of his children. The wait has been nearly ten years, but Renaldo recently filmed a music video for "Forever" that will end up being played on several websites. Following the release of the video will be the official release of his A Man Like Me EP.

The excitement is building for Renaldo Price's team as they prepare for the release of his EP. All of the hard work and promotion has been building up to this point. Renaldo Price has released two successful singles, "Dream Girl" and "Forever."
Both of the singles were in promotion for his upcoming EP, A Man Like Me. The EP is going to briefly tell a little bit about the man sort of man Price is. More than a singer, he is family man who would do anything for his sons.
Currently, each member of Renaldo Price's family is with him as he prepares to release his debut EP. If all goes well, the record labels will soon have copies of the disc in their hands. After all he has been through, the confidence is through the roof. Renaldo Price feels, regardless of what happens, that everything is going according to God's plan. Because of this, he feels the greater good is going to prevail. With those thoughts in mind, he and his team are praying for the long-term success A Man Like Me is preceeding.

With his EP, A Man Like Me, coming in less than a month, Renaldo Price is doing all he can to promote his first major release. A video has been filmed for his "Forever" video and he has performed the single countless times. In the next few weeks, he plans to push his promotion to new heights.
Renaldo Price has become a household name in Louisiana, but he goal is to become international. Price has been gaining attention outside of his home state over the past few years. But, he feels this year will be the year when he finally breaks through. Renaldo has a strong team behind him and he will not stop until he reaches his goals.
Recently, Price has taken another step in the right direction by performing at a few clubs. The singer is currently preparing for a major show tonight. Renaldo Price will be headlining the "For the Mature and Sexy" night tonight at The Best Western Chateau Louisianne. The show will start at 7 pm tonight and Renaldo is ready to wow the crowd.
Because of the type of artist he is, Renaldo Price wants to put together a performance that people will talk about for years to come. For years, Renaldo Price has been working as hard as he could, but with little success. Despite the road being tough, Renaldo knew he wanted to reach his goals. Even when it appeared as if his dreams would never come true, he continued to work. In his mind, quitting is not an option.
Towards the end of 2010, Renaldo Price felt his luck begin to change as he worked on his A Man Like Me EP. The lead single, "Dream Girl," picked up a bit of steam and became a minor hit. Now promoting the second single, "Forever," Renaldo Price has fans from several states.
Recently, his management company, LG Entertainment, helped him complete his first video, "Forever." Much like his debut single, "Forever" has become a hit and people from all around are listening to the song. With the video coming soon, Renaldo Price feels everything is finally coming together for him. He wants to be the living testament to the statement "hard work pays off."

Things are finally official for Renaldo Price, as he finished the shoot for his first video. Price is preparing for a big year in 2011. Last year, he made major steps and he plans to continue in the same direction.
With his EP, A Man Like Me, prepared for release next month, there is no time to waste. His lead single, "Dream Girl," has done well. But, he felt that the follow-up, "Forever," would do better. The video features Price singing to Brittany Monet`.
The video begins with Renaldo Price talking with a few of his male friends about the new woman that he is interested in. Right when they finish talking, Brittany Monet` comes outside and his friends tell him he made the right decision. They also take the time to admire her body. From that point, the video officially starts and Renaldo Prices does what he does best. The video features appearances from everyone on his team from management down to his friends.

The journey continues for Renaldo Price as he is preparing to take the next major step in his career. With 2010 coming to a close, Price can look back on the year and call it a success. Yes, 2010 was a success, but Renaldo is still looking for more. There is no time like the present to make progress.
Renaldo is currently riding the success of his "Dream Girl" single. The song has gained him all kinds of attention. Most importantly, the popularity of the song has introduced fans to Renaldo Price's other music. Price has major projects coming up very soon and "Dream Girl" is the introduction.
In order to capitalize off the success of "Dream Girl," Renaldo Price has decided to shoot a video for the song. The shoot is set to begin sometime next week. Before the end of January, the "Dream Girl" video will premiere on YouTube and here on JR. The video will show Price going after the girl of his dreams, hence the title, "Dream Girl."
Featured in the video will also be relative newcomer, Brittany Monet. She will serve as Renaldo Price's love interest in the video. Before the end of January, "Dream Girl" will premiere to the world. Read more...

In the entertainment business, one phrase often used is "don't quit your dayjob." The phrase is meant for those who might not be as good at entertaining as they think they are. But, in this day and age with the internet making things so easy, everyone appears to have quit their dayjob. Most of these people lack talent but try.
Renaldo Price has the talent and he is doing all he can to make sure he reaches his goal. Despite his talent and his connections, Price has yet to quit his dayjob. He works seven days a week as a truck driver and he spends the remainder of his time pushing his career. Price has been signing for years and he is on the verge of making it big.
JR was lucky enough to catch up with Renaldo Price over the phone for an exclusive interview.
JR: Hey Renaldo, how are you?
RP: I'm doing great man.
JR: How do you mix R&B and your work
RP: I work 7 days a week, so I sacrifice and grind to go after what I want and hard work pays off.
JR: Have you ever been close to quitting?
RP: All of the time, but I realize success does not come overnight. Patience is a virtue so I stay patient.
JR: Do you have any deals on the table?
RP: Yes some labels have contacted me, but my main connection with Greg Charlie, who has worked with the likes of Usher and Mariah Carey.
JR: Switching gears, do you have any children?
RP: Yes, I have two sons, ages 7 and 3.
JR: What values do you hope to instill in them that they should carry for life?
RP: I always try to lead by example and my hard work. I try to show them all options, but I do tell them hard work pays off. I want them to look back and say their father was a R&B singer. I try to walk the walk and talk the talk for them.
JR: Can you explain your relationship with Soulja Boy and S.O.D. Entertainment?
RP: My team knows a few of Soulja Boy's associates and by March I want to contact them to see if Soulja Boy would do a feature on my album.
JR: Do you see acting in the future?
RP: Actually, I see myself producing movies. I see myself owning an entertainment company in the future.
JR: The Dream Girls album is your debut album, correct?
RP: Yes, but it is actually the hit single off my EP, Renaldo Price: A Man Like Me.
JR: For the album, do you have any collaborations planned outside of Soulja Boy?
RP: Yeah, my team has reached out to Diamond, KeKe Wyatt, Shawnna, Tiffany Evans, but I do want to work with Jamie Foxx, I kid you not he is my idol. I see myself as the latest soul R&B artists. I love true music, it never goes away.
JR: How do you feel about El DeBarge's comeback?
RP: I think it's great. He took some time off and he came back and he is leading true music back. I think it's great that he's coming back.
JR: How do you feel about Michael Jackson's posthumous album?
RP: With me being a big MJ fan, he needs to have his own reign. I think the album will be good because of the collaborations with the mixture of talent.
JR: Well, Renaldo, it has been nice talking with you, we wish you the best of luck!
